Inevitable Part 60

<first few pages from the day before, from Sana's PoV, followed by regular update.. >

He seemed so off on the phone which was so unusual of him.. it wasn't his usual off mood either, she thought.. she was good reading people, but she was pro reading Sidharth. She always wanted what was best for him. She could never see anything hurt him or make him feel sad. She could always cheer his mood up by her antics.. just a small talk from her and his mood would always lift up.. but today he sounded so different.. and the thing that bothered her the most was he was trying to hide it from her.. usually he would just tell her what was bothering him with little coaxing.. but today he did not tell her though it looked like he wanted to multiple time.. today to her, he again sounded like when he was trying to hide he was going to work with Shruti a few days back.. he was hiding it that time so that she could do her first show.. he was trying to save her from the hurt that time and that made her worried more.. what was he trying to save her now from? She could not wait till tomorrow to figure out.

She couldn't wait till tomorrow to know what was bothering him so much and she knew if he has decided something he will never budge from his decision.. so she decided to call his mom and ask what happened.. but it was way too late in India for her to call and disturb his mom.. so she called his manager instead..

"Oyy .. kya kiya tune? Kyu Sidharth ka mood off hai.. meeting ka kya hua?? Kitna pareshan hai wo.. " she asked his manager as soon as he picked up.. they all had become quite acquainted with each other.. their managers, their security teams, their make up artists, their hair and dressers, their stylists.. and most of all they all loved Shehnaaz and Sidharth to be bothered by such informal language and late night calls..

"mere se kya puchh rahi ho.. pata nahi yaar usko tune kya kar diya hai.. achha khasa mera practical Sidharth pura yeda bann chuka hai.. jo kiya sab tune kiya usko Shehnaaz.. mujhe mat bol" he told her laughing ..

"Yeda matlab pagal na?? haha.. wo to bann gaya hai.. but abhi aisa kya kiya meine?? Pagal kyun??" she asked feeling stupid proud of being blamed for making The Sidharth Shukla pagal..

"tumhare liye wo mujhe Salman sir ke team ko meeting postpone karwane ko bol raha hai.. to pagal hi hua na.. Salman sir ko kaun aise bolta hai.. meri to fatt rahi hai call karke puchhne ko bhi.. meri to dono jagah se band bajne wali hai.. puchhunga to waha se.. nahi puchhunga to Sidharth se!!"

"kya!! Salman sir ke saath meeting? Kab??"

"matlab sir ke saath nahi but unhone Sid ka nam recommend kiya hai unke naye project mein unke director ko.. to wo director ne milne bulaya hai Monday .. "

"hayee sachhi..!! ye to kitni proud moment hai.. wo kab se wait kar raha tha iska.. ye Sidharth pagal ho gaya hai? Manaa kyu kar raha hai.. Sydney kya yaar.. kahi bhaag thode hi ja raha hai Sydney.. yahi rahega baad mein bhi aayenge tab.. kuchh bhi karta hai ye.. aise kyun bola wo?? Isme to koi logggic hi ni hai" she was just speaking her mind out loud wondering not necessarily asking the manager..

"pata nahi.. tumne hi kuchh kiya hoga.. bol raha tha kuchh last week tum log ki iske wajah se hi fight hui thi.. daraa ke rakhha hai madam aapne itne bade hatte katte insan ko.. maanna padega.. " he said teasing her again..
