Inevitable Part 45

He was fuming with anger pacing the length of his room.. Shehnaaz walked out of the bathroom drying her eyes and face with a napkin.. she did not even dare look at him right now. She silently started packing whatever little stuff she had brought for the 3-day trip.. but she couldn't concentrate and sat down heavily on the side of the bed.. she stole a glance at his pacing form trying to come up with few words..

Sidharth on the other hand was running out of words and patience.. the fear he had, had turned out to be true and that had angered him beyond his wits.. He looked at Shehnaaz sitting on the corner of the bed looking at him with begging eyes.. but he couldn't even feel any pity for her at this moment.. he was just disappointed and livid..

Their chilled-out afternoon turned into a sweet evening, but soon was spoilt by a call from Sana's manager..

"Hey Sana.. what exactly did you tell Guru when you came to India?"

"kya matlab?"

"matlab tumne usko kya promise kiya kab shoot khatam karegi bache hue songs? "

"yaha se wapis jaate hi.. kyun?"

"he has sent me the new dates and they are after your last show.. Its 7 days schedule.. Mujhe bas tumse confirm karna tha what you promised him? Tu tera stay extend karegi fir se? are you sure? "

"oh.." that's all Sana uttered..

Her manager waited for her to explain more but she didn't say anything further.

"Sana??? " He called up a little louder to get her attention back..

"haan.. mein sun rahi hu.. " she said in a lower voice..

"kya hai ye Sana.. tuze bola tha let me handle it.. you make my job way too difficult man.. "

Sana got really upset hearing those words.. she did not like it and it was visible on her face..

Sidharth's face furrowed as he looked at her.. he was keenly following the expressions and her part of the conversation and saw her getting visibly upset..

"Kaun hai Shehnaaz? Kiska call hai?" he asked her getting up from his place on the bed..

She was scared of telling him this news now.. this is exactly what he had explained her in the afternoon..

"kuchh nahi.. manager ka hai.. mein baat kar ke aati hun" saying she got up to walk towards the balcony, but he pushed her back on the sofa sitting next to her..

"speaker pe daal.. "

"arre mene bola na kuchh nahi hai.. tu pagal hai" she tried to get up again her face panicked imagining his reaction.. she did not want to deal with that right now..

"tuze ek baar bola samajh nahi aaya? Speaker pe daal ya mujhe de phone.. "

"Sana give it to Sidharth.." her manager urged her too hearing Sidharth in the background.. he knew Sidharth would want to know this little development and won't be happy hearing it either..

Sana got really angry at both of their authorative tone and cut the call..

"kya hua hai batayegi??" Sidharth asked now a little alarmed at her reaction..

She just shook her head no.. and got up from the sofa..

"flight ka time ho raha hai.. mujhe drop kar de.. "
