"aur ekk baat bataa.. teri height bhi to itni jyada hai mujhse.. us se problem nahi hai tuze?? Fir age se kyu hai? "

He understood what she was trying to do and rolled his eyes at her.. Height difference and age difference are two different things altogether.. how can she even compare those? he kept mum, he knew she will not listen to him now.. but her next words made his heartbeat soar, surprising him to say the least..

"chahe hamara height difference ho ya age difference.. mujhe secure feel hota hai tere saath un dono ki wajah se.. " she added in a soft voice cupping his face in both her hands..

She caressed his face lovingly, tracing each and every worry line from his face, gathering her thoughts of how lucky she felt that she had him.. she knew she needed someone mature like him in his life to anchor her.. their age difference never bothered her, on the contrary it gave her security.. but she knew it did bother him from time to time.. and she also knew it did not worry him for him.. it upset him thinking about her, for her.. he always thought of her first.. She is so full of life and naïve right now, he does not want her to wake up in few years and regret being with him..

He knows she is thinking through her heart and right now her heart has convinced her that he is the one, but what if in few years when she has seen more life, and he has grown even older that she realizes may be someone her age would have been better suited? And what about her parents? what about other people around them? What if they thought he was taking advantage of her? And let alone others, what about him.. He is at that stage of life when he needs some stability, while her life is just starting.. It's a beginning of her career, she has so much to do and achieve.. what if their priorities don't match?
