"arre waise Sana kaisi hai? Kab se uska naya shoot?"

"kal se.. "

"achha.. bahot din ho gaye usse baat huye.. aaj teri baat hogi to pehle mujhe de dena 5 min.. "

"where is your phone .. abhi free hogi wo baat kar lo.. mera phone room mein hai.. " Sidharth thought this would be a good opportunity to get Shehnaaz talking.. his mom was unaware of any their latest feud anyway. He took his Mom's phone and dialed Shehnaaz and gave it in his mom's hand gesturing her he is going to kitchen to get water before it could connect. He stood just a little behind out of the reach so that he would not be seen by either his mom or Sana from the screen..

"Hiii Mumma.. kaise ho aap.. "

"mein ekdam thik Beta.. abhi toh Sidharth bhi aa gaya hai ghar.. tum batao.. baot din se call nahi kiya? "

"haan ji wo mein karne hi wali thi.. "

"aur aise kyu dikh rahi ho? Tum ro rahi thi? "

"ni ni .. mein thik hun.. aise hi.. " she replied but her eyes betrayed her..

"arre arre bachha.. rote nahi.. kya hua achanak.. ?" his mom could not understand what made her cry suddenly.. worried she called Sidharth thinking he is not aware.. "Sidharth???? Bahar aao.."

He came out of his hiding place his eyes fixed on the screen and lips pursed..

"ye dekh kaise ro rahi hai bachhii.. kya hua hai? le baat kar.. "

He just stood behind her staring at the screen not saying anything.. Sana saw him and wiped her tears not wanting to make him angry anymore in front of his mom..

"ni mein thik hun. Wo just thoda home sick lag raha tha isliye.. aap tension mat lo.. "

Mom saw all that exchange and understood there is something more to it.. She sighed knowing she might have to intervene again, she walked out to her room seeing Sana get nervous watching Sidharth behind her. "achha chal ab has de.. aur bataa Australia ke bare me.. kaha kaha ghume tum aur Shehbaaz.. ?"

While the two of them spoke, Sidharth stayed in living room pacing around hoping that his mom would be able to fix Sana's mood.. his Mom came out almost after 20 mins sitting on the nearest Sofa, turned to look at him eyeing him for an explanation..

"baitho yaha.. and explain.. "

"kya explain.. what did she tell you..?" he asked feeling deceived..

"usne jo bhi kaha ho.. tum apna batao.. "

"ye ladki ek din mereko pagal karke chhodegi sach mein.. " he just got up from his place on the sofa pacing again.. His mom laughed amused at his frustration and asked him again what happened....

"chhodo.. kuchh nahi.. " Sidharth felt a little embarrassed telling his mom about his fights with Shehnaaz, but he was dying to know what did Shehnaaz tell her.. so that he could get some perspective.. he knows she understands both of them very well..

"chal thik hai mat bata.. par itna yaad rakhna that she is different. Different than any other girls you have been with before. No one has made you so happy and so angry .." she rolled her eyes "ever before.. forget angry part.. but no one has made you so happy before.. and you don't need me to tell you that .. you know it quite well.. so make sure you also put in some extra effort with her.. samjha??
