Inevitable Part 21

Sidharth was almost done for the day and was packing up to get home. He couldn't wait to get in the car and call Sana when he heard Shruti call him from the door of his vanity. He was surprised to see her there knowing she did not have her shoot planned for today.

The moment he had gotten to know about Shruti replacing Sana, he had asked their parts to be shot with as less time as possible. He made sure his solo parts were shot a day before so that he has to spend just one or max another half day shooting with shruti. He was making sure of this not only because of Sana, but for his sake too. Since he had flirted with Shruti in one of the parties earlier to bug Sana, Shruti seemed to have taken a wrong signal and have been trying to reach him in the pretense of their upcoming shooting since the project got finalized 4 days ago.

He has strictly asked the production to be contacted through his manager only, so he knew all the messages or Calls she was trying to make were her doing and had nothing to do with the production. He was now blaming his impulsive decision to lead her in wrong way in the party to just irritate Sana... Sana had told him the same day again, what she keeps telling him again and again, that he doesn't see the effect he has on girls when he flirts. His charm is undeniable, and it is unfair of him to lead them like this if he doesn't mean it at all. And Sidharth as always had brushed it off saying it's just Sana's jealousy speaking and the girls knows too what he is doing is a harmless flirt just meant for that moment.. but now he had started to wonder if Sana was right all along.. she has this uncanny ability to read people and he has experienced it to be true numerous times..

He gave a courtesy smile to Shruti suggesting her to walk outside of vanity with him.. He did not want to be seen inside a closed vanity with her at all..

"Hey, I am done for the day, was about to leave, come will talk outside, I am waiting for my driver to pull up.. "

She did not seem happy about it at all but came out as he almost walked past her out of the vanity..

"How come you are here today by the way? you are not even shooting today right?"

She was taken aback by his direct question, getting the insinuation in his voice..

"Ya, I was shooting nearby, I thought I will come and check out if we can finish something today.. but I think I was late .."

"Yes, you are late" hoping she gets the underlying meaning of his statement too, "anyway.. catch you tomorrow.. I need to go call Shehnaaz .. she is waiting for my call" He said stressing on Shehnaaz's name..

"So, you two are together now huh? "

"None of your business.. " He replied curtly..

She knows his temper all too well and knows not to push his buttons wrong.. she quickly gathered her expressions...

"ok yaar mat bata.. itna kyu hyper ho raha hai.. anyway.. let's take a selfie.. I need to post it on my insta, our followers have been messaging me the whole day.. "

"Not today.. I am anyway getting late. See you tomorrow... and if you don't mind, please be on time, I would like to finish everything tomorrow itself.. no point wasting another day".. and he walked off quickly before she could say anything..

He rested his head on the back of the seat as soon as he entered the car and told the driver to take him home straight .. He checked the clock.. It was already 7:45 here, it was almost midnight in Australia, and he hoped Sana was awake as he dialed her..
