Inevitable Part 12

They are all seating at the dinner table. Shehnaaz, Sidharth, his mom and Shehbaaz. Shehnaaz's flight is to leave in just few hours. Both her and Sidharth are dreading that moment. Both trying to avoid any conversation that would remind them she has to leave soon. As if not talking about it would somehow delay the inevitable.. But time, on the other hand just seem to be slipping through their hands. Feels like just minutes ago when they both were in each other's arms after the wonderful gifts Sid surprised Sana with. She just couldn't stop touching the pendant every now and then.. Sid always notices every small thing she does, and this does not go unnoticed by him either... Every time she touches the pendant, a blush creeps on her face, and his heart swells with joy looking at that.

The day after this surprise, they had spent the morning together lazing around till late afternoon.. Sana laid a small rug in front of her now favorite wall in the house and made Sid lie down cuddling her on the rug facing the wall.. they reminisced all the memories all those photos brought to them for hours..

"Baby bataa wo photo kab ki hai?? Tuze yaad hai?"

"Haan.. mujhe sab yaad hai... " he said rolling his eyes..

"haaye baby us din to media ne almost pakad hi liya tha hum ko .. " she giggled her hands covering her mouth..

"haan.. sab teri jidd ki wajah se.. Raat ko 12 baje kisko Ice Cream khana hota hai be.. aur mera bhi dimag kaha chala gaya tha pata nahi jo mein aa gaya tha tere saath bina dekhe"

"haha.. baby tuze to mein kabhi bhi kahi bhi le ja sakti hu.. mujhe aata hai tuze ullu banana.. hahaha" she couldn't stop laughing at her own words and seeing Sid's expressions..

Sid not liking this smug Sana started tickling her until she begged him to stop..

"Sorry.. bas kar bas kar.. haaye sorry Sidharth.. abhi nai bolungi.. tu bahot samjhdar hai.. mujhe nai.. tu kisise ullu nai ban sakta.. stop.. stop.. "

He finally stopped letting her breath a little ..

She pointed at another photo once her breathing came to normal..
"Ye meri sab se favorite photo hai hamari Sidharth.. "

They have spent a wonderful time of their lives in last 6 months just being together.. they just reveled each other's company and it was visible on their faces in each on those photos.. the twinkle in her eyes, the awe in his.. and the love that just overpowered everything else ..

"ye?? Kyun? Isme to tu thodi blur bhi aayi hai.. "

It was a candid shot taken by someone in one of their friend's house party right after BB.. Sana was as usual the life of the party, everyone seemed to just gravitate towards her, and she was oblivious, dancing with couple of girls to some music.. Sidharth was standing just a little behind her apparently busy in some conversation with guys, but his eyes were fixed on her all the while.. In the middle of her dance, their eyes just met a for a moment and that moment was beautifully captured in the photo..

"Tere chehre ki smile dekh ismein.. aye haaye.. mujhe badi pasand hai je photo.."

"Meri favorite wo hai jo ekdam center mein hai.. " Sid said diverting her attention..

"wo wali kyun.. usme to tu hai bhi ni?? Wo kyun best hai? Kyunki wo tune kheenchi hai?? " she asked elbowing him in his chest..

"Haan aur kya.. best ne kheenchi hai to best hi hogi na.. "

She stuck her tongue out mocking him.. "yaa yaaa"
