After the entertaining evening with Mrs. Midoriya and Bakugo's mom, no one in the class could sleep. The group chat was constantly buzzing, now filled with inside jokes that should never see the light of day. However, despite almost everyone being tired, the room was filled with exciting, chaotic energy ready for the awaited trip, to the USJ training center.
Even with this, there were a few people more hesitant than others. They noticed something was wrong. The wind hadn't been there yesterday, which was odd enough since it always stuck around Bakugo, but today. Today, it was causing havoc on anyone it could get the attention from. Bakugo walked up to Aizawa casually with his hands in his pockets, expelling an aura of 'don't talk to me'.
"Aizawa-sensei, I think there is something wrong." Aizawa looked at the boy, even if he didn't want to show it, Bakugo was nervous, and Aizawa could tell.
"Are you talking about Izuku?" He questioned.
"Yeah. This isn't like him, somethings up. When ever someone tries to get on the bus, it's like he's attacking them. Telling them 'no' almost." Bakugo looked at his feet, not wanting to show the teacher in front of him that he was concerned.
"I agree," Bakugo looked up at the insomniac of a teacher. "Something is most definitely up. I suspect that he knows something what we don't." The teacher contemplated quickly, he couldn't tell what the usually playful wind was concerned about no matter how hard he thought.
"Class!" He called out, "Please board the bus, I will be back momentarily." Iida quickly sprung into action at the request, guiding students into his self-made seating plan. The teacher stands and watches as each student fights against the strong wind to get into the bus and take their seats. He turns away into the building, he needs to take care of two things before they leave for the day trip.
He approaches his now almost empty classroom, to see the one he was waiting for at the back.
"Let's go, Shinsou." He signals the boy over to him. The purple haired boy steadily makes his way to the teacher, hiding his shaking insides from nervousness. "Before we go, I have to quickly take care of something, if you don't mind, you may join me." Shinsou nods, patiently following the just as sleepless man. The pair walks toward the main office, home base to the man known as the 'sadistic principal'. "You can wait here." Aizawa announces before heading in.
Not two minutes later, the man walks out, the young teen quickly follows as they make their way to the bus. They board the bus together before announcing,
"This is Hitoshi Shinsou, and for at least today, he will be joining our class."
"Aizawa, Sir, you should have informed me if we were to take another student. I would have added him onto our seating plan." Iida retorts with slight sharpness in his voice, he wished his teacher would have trusted him more with this information.
"I would have loved to Iida, but only recently we decided Shinsou would be joining us." Iida felt relief in these words, knowing maybe he was depended upon as he loved to be,
"Now, let's get going." The two new bus members take their seats, Aizawa at the front, now climbing into his sleeping bag. Others chatted, Bakugo listened to music, Mineta found a way to sneak dirty magazines on, which took most of the boys' attention until Aizawa removed them with his capture gear. The ride went smoothly other that the intense gust of wind presumably made by what seemed to be an anxious Izuku. With every pass of the wind it got colder and weaker, almost as if realizing it was powerless.
While everyone was busy, doing who knows what, all Aizawa could think about was the idea that maybe Izuku could talk to the dead. Was it like a medium? Did he have control over those he talked to? Were there other spirits, ghosts, out there now that Izuku could communicate with? Ones that long for an ability like Izuku's to communicate to loved ones? The thoughts had plagued his sleep the night before, and now his one chance to catch up what he sleep lost last night, was now taken again by this problem child.
