Back when you were younger, you recall going to Zora's domain a lot with Link. Link is 4 years older than you, so even from the time you were born you grew familiar with the Zora.

You would always see Link and Mipha talking, and you're parents would speak with King Dorephan. And then there was Prince Sidon. You and Sidon eventually became close, and that caused you to always be asking your parents to take you there.

"Mom! Dad!" You called for your parents. It was your 18th birthday, and you wanted to go to the domain.

"Yes ______?" Your mom walked out of the kitchen with a spoon in her hand.

"Can we go to the domain? I wanna see Sidon!"

"I suppose we could... let me finish your cake and I'll get ready. Go tell your father and brother."

"Okay!"

You ran to tell your father and Link, and then after your mother finished the cake you all left.

"King Dorephan!" You exclaimed as you ran upstairs to him.

"______! Happy birthday!" King Dorephan laughed as you ran up and almost tripped on the last step.

"Where's Sidon?"

"He went to go get something from Ploymus Mountain... I'm unsure of when he'll be back."

"Oh. Okay."

"Link!" Everyone turned around to see Princess Zelda dashing up the stairs. Link bowed.

"We need to head to Lanayru Peak. My 17th birthday is tomorrow and we need to get there quickly."

"Oh. Well I guess I need to get going guys. Sorry sis." Link frowned.

"Oh and I almost forgot! Happy birthday, _____! Guess we got lucky to have birthdays right next to eachother, huh?" Zelda smiled.

"Guess we did! Well, I promised Impa I would visit her as soon as you left for Lanayru Peak. So I gotta go to. I'll be back, guys." You waved and dashed to the nearest stable to pick up your horse.

You got to Kakariko Village, and Impa directed you to the forge. You went to start forging, when the Lynel shot you with the ancient arrow just seconds before the Great Calamity. Minutes before the death of the King. Hours before the deaths of the champions and the near death of your brother. Days before the realization of it all happened.

"Father! I'm back!" Sidon chirped. It had been a while since you left for the Castle.

"Hello, my boy. Did you get everything you needed on Ploymus Mountain?"

"Yep! Where's -" The Great Calamity happened that very second.

"What's happening?!" Sidon looked at the Castle terrified.

"It's the Great Calamity! Ganon has returned!"

"It is?!"

"I'm afraid to say so, Sidon!"

"Where's Mipha?!"

"The last I heard, she was with the other Champions and Princess Zelda."

"Is she gonna be okay?!"

"We can only hope."

"What do you mean we can ONLY HOPE?! IS SHE GOING TO BE OKAY?!"

"I can't reassure or promise you anything right now. But with Mipha's strength and ability, I have little doubt she won't fail to impress once again. But all we can do is hope and believe in them."

"What about ______?"

"She went to talk to Impa a while ago."

"Is she gonna be safe?"

"I don't know, Sidon. I'm sure if she's in Kakariko Village, she'll be fine if she makes it to the Castle on time."

"What about the second Master Sword?"

"That was just a legend, Sidon."

"But won't she get it? I mean the legend said the person needs to be special, and I think _____ is special enough."

"Then maybe she'll get it." Dorephan smiled at his son's remark, but was still concerned with the Great Calamity.

"I just hope they're okay."

A few days later, everyone across Hyrule found out about what had happened.

"So all of the Champions, _____, and Princess Zelda didn't make it?" King Dorephan became upset hearing this.

"Yes Sir." Bazz nodded. Bazz was only a child, just as Sidon was.

"We are unsure about Master Link and Princess Zelda, but as for the Champions and _____, we are certain of their deaths." Bazz's father added.

"Where was my Mipha?"

"She was killed by a ganon phantom in the Divine Beast Ruta. The other Champions suffered the same fates. The Divine Beasts are now in Ganon's control."

"Where was _____?"

"She was in the forge under Hyrule. We thought she was be okay, but the roof caved in, so there isn't any way she could still be alive."

"I see... telling Sidon this isn't gonna be easy..."

"Mipha and _____ died?!" Sidon was just walking in the room.

"Sidon! I didn't know you were here!" Dorephan put his head in his hands.

"Why did they have to die?! I have no mother, no sister, and no best friend?!"

"Sidon, I'm sorry. If I could bring your mother and sister back in replacement of myself, I would."

"Why can't I have all of you?"

"Life isn't fair, son."

"Oh this is just great. Stupid ganon! I'm gonna kill him someday and make sure he NEVER comes back!" Sidon ran to his room crying.

"Sidon!" Bazz chased after Sidon.

"Bazz!" Bazz's father started running after him but King Dorephan stopped him.

"Riezo! Let the boys be with eachother. These are going to be difficult times for them."

"You're right. I'm sorry, King Dorephan."

"Don't be sorry for anything, Riezo. It's alright. We'll get through this together."

Times got tough after that, King Dorephan and Prince Sidon rarely spoke for quite some time. It took them a while to understand they needed father-son company. Hyrule was in a devastation, until 100 years later when Link returned. And then of course, a decade after that, you were freed.
