You were in the medics after a battle trip you had gone on. You had gotten a scar from a lynel, nothing bad. But Link worried about you, so he sent you in.
"Alright, you're fine Master _____." The nurse, Chelsi told you with a smile. "But Link told me to tell you-"
"Not to be reckless. I know." You laughed.
"Excuse me, Miss Chelsi, may I have a word?" The head medic, Miklo asked as he walked in.
"Of course. I'll be right back _____." Chelsi left you alone for a few minutes before returning with a clipboard.
"_____, we just got back some test results and... I know it's obviously not what you were here for."
"What's going on?" You were confused, but Chelsi didn't sound worried. Just kind of suprised.
"You're pregnant."
Your eyes widened and you zoned out for a few seconds. You were happy, but the shock overwhelmed you first.
"Really?"
"Yep."
You were excited and nervous to tell Sidon, but he had been out on a trip to the Akkala for a week, and you didn't know when he'd be back.
"I have to tell Dorephan." Chelsi let you go, and you ran straight to Dorephan's chambers.
"King Dorephan!" You were out of breath when you got to the top of the stairs.
"Yes _____?"
"Do you know when Sidon's gonna be back?"
"No, not yet. Soon, though. Is something going on?"
"Well, I just needed to talk to him about something."
"About what if I may ask?"
"I'm pregnant."
The king looked suprised. But he smiled when he saw you seemed happy about it.
"Really? Well I'm sure Sidon will be ecstatic when he returns home."
"Yeah, I hope."
"Master _____!" Bazz called out for you. "Prince Sidon has arrived!" You got extremely anxious but excited and tried to keep calm.
"Go tell him. He'll be over the moon." Dorephan chuckled. You ran downstairs to see him.
"Sidon! You're home!" You hugged him and he kissed your cheek.
"I'm sorry I was out so long dear. I didn't think it would take that long."
"It's alright honey."
You and Sidon went back to your room and talked about your trips, you mentioned nothing about the pregnancy. You knew he'd be excited, but you were panicking.
"Well, I'm going to go say hello to my father." Sidon walked out to his father's chambers.
"WAIT!" You screamed in your head, but you couldn't rush out after him immediately since you were changing. Once you were done, you tried to get there before him, but he beat you. Barely.
"Sidon, my boy!"
"Hello father! How has your week been?"
"It's been good, but you must be ecstatic."
"Well, I've had a good week but I really am quite tired."
"Well congratulations, Sidon."
"Congratulations? For what?"
"_____, did you not tell him?" Dorephan looked at you confused, so you had no choice but to jump in.
"He's congratulating you about the baby, Sidon." Sidon turned to face you.
"Wait, baby? What baby?"
"Sidon, we're pregnant." Sidon looked at you shocked and walked closer to you.
"R-Really?" You nodded with a smile, and that was enough to make him pick you up and spin you around, and your giggling echoed through the large room. Dorephan smiled at the sight of Sidon so happy, but was still wondering what kept you from mentioning it before.
Sidon took you back to your shared room, and put you down on the bed before kissing you.
"I love you." He whispered.
"I love you more." You whispered back.
"I already told you, it's not possible!" Sidon scooped you back up in his arms and started kissing you all over your face.
"Sidon, s-stop!" You were giggling uncontrollably and Sidon found it adorable, so he continued. Eventually, he put you back down on the bed and sat down next to you.
"So, who have you told besides my father?"
"Just you. That's it."
"Oh boy, just wait until Link finds out." You both laughed.
"He'll be happy to be an uncle. He'll just need to have time to absorb it. A LOT of time."
"Yeah. That's Link for you. But what about Muzu?"
"I don't know. We'll have to tell them as well."
"Do we have to do it right now?" Sidon pouted. Before you had time to answer, there was a knock on the door accompanied by the raised voice of your brother.
"_____? Sidon? Is everything okay? Miklo and Chelsi called me telling me to get down here!"
"Come in." You told him. He practically burst down the door.
"What's going on? Are you okay?"
"Link, I have a question."
"What?"
"How would you feel about being an uncle?"
"An uncle? Well, it'd be awesome but why are you asking?"
"I'm asking, because Sidon and I are gonna have a baby."
"Wait seriously?!" You nodded and he hugged you, and Zelda came in right after. She was just as excited about the news. And she also showed you the ring on her finger.
"You guys are engaged?!"
"Yep!"
That was... a lot of excitement for one day. You weren't complaining, though.
