Today was your wedding day! All of the preparations had been made, and it was finally happening! You had yourself all ready to go, and you couldn't possibly be more excited.
"I can't believe you're finally getting married!" Zelda beamed as she helped you with the finishing touches on your dress.
"I know, it just felt like yesterday we were just two little kids running around the lanayru wetlands, and now we're making a huge commitment to love."
"It did feel like just yesterday the four of us were just kids. But look at us now. At how far we've come."
"Yeah. But either way, I didn't know how hard it would be to wear a somewhat tight dress while 8 months pregnant with twins!" Zelda giggled while she watched you attempt to get more comfortable.
"Well, it's just how it is sometimes. But we'll be ready as soon as Kyri gets here."
"Zelda? _____! I'm here!" Kyri called as she walked in. She smiled when she saw you.
"_____, you look amazing!"
"Thanks, Kyri. But this dress is really tight."
"You should be fine. It's just for the day, you can change into something more comfortable in the evening for the party."
"Right. Right." Just then, there was a knock at the door. "Who is it?"
"It's Link. You ready?"
"Yep! Come on guys." You, Kyri and Zelda walked out of the room and Link smiled and hugged you.
"I can't believe you're really getting married today." You could see Link trying not cry, you knew he was happy but he was always like your father. Overprotective of you, and not wanting to let go.
"I know. It's okay Link."
"I know, but I still can't seem to believe it right. Not because I didn't think it would happen, but because it felt like just yesterday you were still that little girl barely learning how to use a sword."
"Link, I-" Zelda started but Link put his hand up.
"I know, Zelda. I'm sorry. Come on sis, let's go get you with your husband to be." Link led you to the top of the balcony, since the ceremony was below. Kyri and Zelda walked down the left staircase, and you and Link walked down the right staircase. You let go of Link's hand, and walked right to Sidon.
"Take care of her, Sidon. I'm trusting you to love her. And if you break her heart, I'll break your -"
"Link! It's okay, calm down a bit." Zelda led Link to their seats and you knew this was difficult for him. But he was really happy for you.
"Anyways, let's start with the vows." Kapson started. Link practically cried through the whole thing.
After le vows
After you and Sidon put the rings on each other's fingers, you looked over to Link and Zelda. Zelda was beaming, while Link was smiling and giving you a thumbs up. You gave him one back.
"Alright, Prince Sidon, you may now kiss the bride!"
Sidon picked you up and kissed you, and then right after kissed your stomach. Everyone was clapping, and when you were back on the ground, everyone started the party. And Link came over and hugged you.
"I'm not gone, Link."
"I know that sis. It's just... you know I take after dad. You'll see my cry at my own kid's weddings, don't worry." You both laughed, and you and Sidon went to cut the cake. After that, the party was started, and you were talking to Zelda and Kyri.
"Dance with me?" Sidon asked as he walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around you.
"Of course." You smiled and kissed his cheek and he led you out to the center of the domain and danced with you, along with all of the other couples who joined you.
After dancing, you went to get more comfortable in something not so tight before heading back down to the party.
"It's a shame you couldn't get drunk on your wedding night like everyone else does." Kyri laughed. You rolled your eyes.
"I don't have a problem with it, Kyri. I don't need to -"
"Hey love!" Sidon exclaimed as he ran over to you.
"Hey honey!" You giggled as he kissed your cheek.
"You ready to wrap this party up?"
"We should, it's almost midnight."
"Alright. You just go to our room, and I'll be there in a few minutes." You nodded and Sidon went to tell everyone the party was over. You went up to your room and got ready for bed.
Sidon walked in just as you sat down on your bed, and took off all his adornments and cuddled up next to you.
"Today was amazing..." He sighed as he stroked your cheek.
"It really was..." You curled up close to him and synced your breathing with his.
"I love you dear..."
"I love you too..."
Finally married! And of course, Link, as the older brother has to be looking out for you. But I know this chapter was written better than the other wedding for those of you who have read it. Sorry for taking a while to finally update!
