You and Link headed outside to the entrance of the domain to see a young girl with long dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She had on casual hylian wear, and almost resembled Link.
"Link! _____!" She smiled and you both looked at her, then each other and then her again. "You guys probably don't remember me, huh?" You both shook your heads. "It's me. Scarlett. Your niece." Link gasped and you covered your mouth, tears pricking the corners of your eyes.
"Wait, how are you here? We thought you were with Chrystal when..." Link trailed off and you couldn't help but start crying. All of the memories of your younger sister came back and all of your worrying about her and her daughter.
"Scarlett, where have you been?" Link asked while also trying to comfort you.
"I was in some shrine of resurrection thing on the great plateau." Link facepalmed and sighed.
"I was in the same room as my niece for nearly a century and never knew... even 14 years later." Link seemed to be getting frustrated, but not with you or Scarlett. Or even Chrystal. You could understand why, since the story was rough. Dorephan was the only one who would know now, so the three of you went to him.
"Chrystal? The last time I saw her was when she introduced me to her newborn daughter. I know _____ was with her, but you Link seemed too furious to want to join them." Link nodded and Dorephan began explaining.
"So yes Scarlett, Link was 20, _____ was 18 and Chrystal was 16. She had you very young, and Link wasn't happy about it. He actually disliked your father, yet I don't know why. He was a kind young man, and he loved you and your mother more than anything."
"But Vincent got my little sister pregnant! How am I supposed to like him?!" Link hissed.
"I got your little sister pregnant, and you still like me okay." Sidon shrugged as he put you on his lap.
"Twice." You joked and Sidon chuckled. Link wasn't amused.
"That's different, you and _____ were ready to have kids. Chrystal was a teenager." Link folded his arms. Dorephan nodded and hummed in agreement.
"Link has a point. Chrystal was still very young. But atleast Vincent stayed with her and they raised Scarlett together in a healthy loving relationship."
"True." You nodded and looked at Scarlett, who seemed nervous. You smiled at her and she smiled back and took a breath.
"Well, all I know is that when the Calamity struck, your mother and father ran into hiding but your mother got killed by Ganon. Last I heard, your father was killed not even a decade later." Scarlett nodded and let out a long sigh.
"I went to stay with some family friends until I was 14, and then I headed back out to fight Ganon. Then I was taken to the shrine of resurrection on the great plateau, and I guess Link said he was there too."
"Indeed he was child. Well, even if you don't have either of your parents, your aunt and uncle are here for you. Well, you have an aunt and two uncles." Dorephan motioned to Sidon who nodded and smiled. Scarlett and she seemed a bit more calm to know she was safe with her family.
"And an aunt to be." Zelda ran up the stairs just as Link said that, and he opened an arm for her.
"Chrystal?!" Zelda walked closer to everyone and stood just looking over Scarlett.
"Zelda, this is Chrystal's daughter Scarlett. She does have a striking resemblance to her though, doesn't she?" You smiled and Zelda looked disappointed that it wasn't Chrystal but she happily waved to Scarlett.
"Oh I remember you! I'm Zelda, Link's fiancé." Scarlett shook Zelda's hand, and Zelda then sat down next to Link.
"So wait, do I have cousins?" Scarlett asked. You nodded.
"Yep! Two little cousins and three on the way." Sidon went to get the twins and you explained. "I have a set of twins, and another set of twins on the way, and Zelda's also having a baby." Scarlett looked at you shocked as if it was some great feat. And to you, it really was.
"Wow! I guess I showed up at a good time." Scarlett put her hands on her hips and you and Zelda chirped 'Yup!' In unison.
"Or Zelda could be having more, there could be five on the way rather than three." Zelda shook her head almost looking terrified and you and Dorephan laughed.
"Mommy!" The twins ran in and you hugged them both.
"Zuko! Zippora! There's my little Zylians!" You picked them both up and Sidon took Zuko, who squirmed in his arms. He was definitely the restless child in that set. You even knew that before they were born, one was always kicking and the other rarely did. And Zuko was even super restless and squirmy as a newborn.
"Hey! This is your cousin, guys!" Sidon looked at Scarlett and the twins both stopped moving and looked and her. "This is Scarlett!" You and Sidon put the two down and then ran to Scarlett and started playing with her. She seemed happy to meet her whole family and know she would love it.
