"_____," Sidon started as he sat down next to you.

"Yeah Sidon?" You asked as you were drawing some designs for the new Zora swords.

"I love you." You blushed and looked up at him. He caressed your cheek and leaned in slowly. Before you had time to respond, your lips were locked with his. But after it broke, you smiled.

"I love you too." You whispered and a crimson blush was quick to spread across his face.

******

"I love you, Sidon. Never forget that." You breathed out, holding Sidon's hand.

"I love you more, _____. And I always will." Sidon hugged you, and you just took a few deep breaths before nuzzling your face into his neck. He hugged you tighter and the two of you sat like that for hours until dawn broke over the domain.

******

"If only you knew," You walked in with a present and a sweet smile. "How long I've loved you."

"Poetic today, are we?" Sidon chuckled lightly and held out his present.

"We'll see about that." You handed Sidon his gift and he handed you yours before giving you a gentle kiss on the lips.

******

"Darling!" Sidon called out, wondering where you were.

"There's my shark prince." Sidon turned around quickly to see you dressed in a long, deep blue gown. Jewels and trinkets covering it, and your ring as a perfect match.

"You're absolutely beautiful, my love." He stepped closer, and held your hands in his.

"You're handsome as always, honey." Sidon blushed and kissed you cheek and you giggled.

~ 2 Months Later ~

"Sweetheart..." You looked at the doorway to see Sidon standing there. He didn't have his usual smile, he actually looked quite upset. And you knew why.

"Hey honey." You got up from your desk and walked over to him. You reached for his hand, but instead he picked you up and closed the door.

He set you down on the huge bed and then flopped down next to you. His red scales in contrast to the light blue silk blanket, and your blue dress coming close to matching.

"You okay dear?" You put your hand to his forehead and he pulled it away and held it to his chest. He gave you a look that almost completely answered you're question. "Sidon... don't give me that look."

"I'm sorry, love. I'm just... I'm just worried about you." You both sighed, and he sat up. There was a few long moments of silence.

"If I could stay, I would." You said finally.

"I know." Sidon said immediately after. His breath was shaky, and yours was too. "How long will you be gone?"

"However long it takes." You clenched your fists.with your words, and Sidon nodded. "I'll visit when I can. I promise."

"I'll take your word for it then." He kissed your head before getting up and going to the closet to take off his adornments and stuff.

Leaving you alone with your thoughts.

"Be careful, _____," Link would tell you. "Not just for yourself, but for everyone who loves you."

-

"Of course you're a warrior!" Chrystal chirped. "But you still have to think about youself sometimes. Being a warrior is a privilege, not a purpose."

-

"Don't worry about us." Your mother said just before you left for the castle for the last time before the Calamity. "We'll push through. Save your siblings and self, you have lives ahead of you."

-

"In all of our glory..." Your father began, "We still have work to do. It'll never be over, but that doesn't mean you have to give everything up just to finish the job."

-

"_____, give yourself more credit for things. And relax." Sidon told you the last time you saw him before your 18th birthday. "Happily ever after may never become a thing for hyrule. And you have seriously done enough. You do far more than you'll ever give yourself credit for."

"_____?" You snapped out of your thoughts to see Sidon kneeling in front of you, right hand holding your left and left hand on your cheek. "Are you feeling okay?"

"I-I'm... fine. I'm okay." You inhaled deep, but before you exhaled Sidon had his arms around you. And that was enough for you to burst into tears.

"_____, you don't have to leave tomorrow. You could stay a while, a few more days at least couldn't hurt." Sidon whispered, gently stroking your hair.

"S-Sidon, I want to but what if it could hurt? Even one extra day could bring destruction upon us all." You sighed and Sidon sighed back with a slow nod.

"I know, but..." He was at a loss for words. Because he knew nothing he said could make you stay. You leaving in search of Ganon would be for the greater good for Hyrule.

Oh and did I mention Ganon suddenly went missing? Right, he trapped Link and Zelda alongside others in the depths of Hyrule Castle. And then he just... disappeared. But there's been sightings of Malice everywhere, so you gotta go figure out where he is and lock him down.

"Hey, at least we have tonight to spend together. Let me just get changed though." You went to change, and every scenario of possibility ran through your head.

'What if I never find him? What if I get trapped too? What if I lose? What then if I win?'

You walked out just a casual tshirt and leggings (Literally the most comfortable thing on this planet in my opinion) and laid down next to Sidon. You shivered as the cold of the night was finally getting to you.

"Aw, someone's cold." Sidon pulled you closer to him and pulled the covers over both of you. "Is that better?" You nodded and curled up into a ball and let him just cuddle you for the rest of the night. The last night for quite some time.
