Chapter 30: Torn Apart pt 2

"Happy birthday to you..." You heard coming from the door. "Happy birthday to you...." You turned around to see Sidon walking in with a cake, closing the door. "Happy birthday to my one and only..." He sang, kissing your cheek. "Happy birthday to you."

"Thank you love!" You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a deep kiss. "How old am I?" You quizzed.

"Old? What are you talking about old for? You look pretty young to me." You blushed and went to playfully push his arm, but he grabbed your hand and spun you around before pulling you into his chest. "Aw, cuuuute."

~ The Next Day ~

"Goodmorning darling..." You heard the sweet, deep voice you loved more than anything behind you. You felt two arms wrapped around your waist, and a light, warm breath near your neck.

"Goodmorning love..." You yawned and buried your face back into your pillow. Forgetting the date. And Sidon didn't remind you, yet you eventually remembered. "I have to start packing."

"...I know." Sidon groaned and you leaned over to kiss his cheek. You got out of bed after, and headed for the bathroom. Sidon was quicker than you though, so he leaped out of bed, swooped you up, pinned you to the wall and kissed you passionately.

"Sidon..." You breathed out quietly as he pulled away. He slowly leaned in a bit more and his breath was hot on your cold ear.

"I love you too much." He whispered, sending a shiver down your spine. These were words that would never be forgotten between the two of you, and brought a feeling you could only get from each other.

"I thought you said it was impossible." You let out a small chuckle, and Sidon thought for a moment.

"Well, that's when I thought is was impossible to love you anymore than I already had. But here you are... proving me wrong..." You giggled and he put you down again before rustling you hair (That was already messy) and opening the door.

"Where are you going?" You asked, heading for the bathroom again.

"I have to go speak with my father. I'll be back shortly dear." And with that, Sidon left. You sighed and looked around the room. A room you never thought you'd have to leave like this.

The floor was blue marble, polished and smooth. The bed was huge and had sky blue silk covers and white sheets with a tint of light blue. The pillows matched the bed, and there were a lot of them. There was a window left of the bed with a white frame and royal blue curtains. To the right of the bed was a tall set of drawers that were a shade in between the bedspread and curtains. Then there was the blue bathroom door right next to it. And on either side of the bed near the pillows were the night stands, yours was on the right and Sidon's was on thr left.

You went into the bathroom, where everything was nice and shiny. You put on one of your many outfits you had for battle, just in case. You could find Ganon today, you could find him... never.

You packed up your swords, bows and shields. And many other things you would need. As soon as you were done, the door opened again.

"Okay Sidon, I-" You turned to see that it wasn't Sidon. It was Zuko.

"Why are you leaving?" That was one of the most blunt statements your son has ever made. Usually he'll stumble over his words a bit, although it usually comes out clear. But this was... worrying you.

"Zuko, darling, I have to go save Hyrule from Ganon. I promise I'll be back soon." You could see his eyes watering and your throat stung. How on earth would a two year old take this? You were... about to find out. "Zuko, I-"

"No!" He ran to you and cried. You've never felt more guilty in your entire life, especially when Zippora ran in crying as well. And then Sidon and Scarlett walked in, Scarlett holding Rhoam and Sidon holding Link and Zelda jr.

"Guys, I-I'm sorry." You opened your mouth to say something else but you starting crying with them. Sidon and Scarlett put the babies on the bed and Sidon picked you up and put you next to them.

You sat crossed legged in Sidon's lap, and Scarlett put Rhoam on your lap, and your younger two in your arms. Sidon held Zippora and Zuko in both arms and they hugged you from your sides, and Scarlett sat in front of you and hugged you. (Confusing?)

"We love you, _____." Sidon said, and you could tell he was trying not to cry but couldn't help it. "We're just worried something will happen to you. And we're gonna miss you."

"Don't think we don't want you to go because we think you couldn't handle it or for no reason, we just want the best for you." Scarlett started crying which made both you and Sidon cry harder.

"I'm gonna miss you." Zippora pouted, and you kissed her cheek, Zuko's cheek, and all three of the babies' heads, and then you kissed Scarlett's forehead before looking up, and Sidon leaned in and you kissed his lips.

"Please be safe, dear. Please." You weren't used to this. Seeing tears streaming down his cheeks like waterfalls.

"Just remember, you're a person too. You shouldn't feel like this was the only reason you're here." Scarlett wiped the tears from her face and her blue eyes reflected her tears. A striking resemblance to Chrystal, appearance and way of words.

"...You remind me so much of her... your mother..." You wiped the tears from your face and Sidon did too. "I miss her so much... I wish you could have met her."

"I do too." Scarlett nodded and all three of you sighed.

"I'll miss all seven of you. But trust me when I say that I'll come home safe. And victorious." Sidon rested his head on yours, and the seven of you took in the last of each other for a long few minutes.

"I love you all." You breathed out quietly.

"We love you more."

Still not normal writing yet. This was written September 10th. I'll let you know when updating becomes normal again, and when I stop prewriting.

Anyways, I know these are all flangst (Legit thought I invented a word, and then I found out it already was a thing! Who knew?) But yeah, this is kinda how it's gonna roll.
