"Oh Sidon," You started, petting his head and tail. "You're the best thing in my world, love."

Sidon's POV

I was just walking around the domain as usual. Stopping to look at my sister's statue, and then eventually I went to my room and just sat on my bed, adoring the huge portrait of _____ on the wall.

"If only you could just jump out of this picture and be with me again, my dear..." I put my head in my hands and groaned, wishing I had gone with her. To protect her.

"Why would she need protection," I thought. "She's the strongest woman I've ever known. She's so powerful, I don't know how she could ever get killed or trapped..."

"I miss you so much. You've done so much in the time you've had so far. And now your left to fight alone. I'm sorry I couldn't be the husband you deserved, _____, I just..." I would've gone on if the exhaustion didn't pull me into sleep.

Memories from all times of my life went through my head, most being happy ones.

"Sidon? Sidon, I need you!"

I swear I heard her. It was like a call for help.

But it turns out it wasn't her, rather Chrystal calling out and knocking on my door.

"Sidon! I know your in there, please get out here!" I quickly got out of bed once I had collected my senses and threw the doors open to see my sister in law, panicking and scared.

"Is everything alright?" I asked as she grabbed my wrist and started heading down the hall.

"No! Scarlett just got here!" I looked out at the bridge to see the guards talking with Scarlett and the other five children.

"You just go up and stay with my father. I'll talk to Scarlett." Chrystal nodded and scurried off to my father's chambers. I then headed down to meet with them.

"S-Scarlett! You're back!" I exclaimed, holding my arms out for my four children. Rhoam stayed next to Scarlett, but he waved to me with a smile.

"Sidon, I'd like to have a word with you." Her tone was harsh and bitter. She didn't seem one bit happy to be home.

"About what?" I asked, watching the five children run off after Bazz, Kyri and Mizune.

"Zuko and Zippora." I took her to my room and she didn't hesitate to let everything spill out of her mouth.

"Zuko's been talking an awful lot about Ganon lately, saying that YOU told him all of it, and Zippora's always asking about _____." I don't think I've ever seen her so angry. Especially directing the anger right at me.

"Well, if Zuko wants to know about Ganon I'll explain. And is it a problem that Zippora wants to know who her mother is?" I rolled my eyes, remembering the one time I mentioned that I didn't want the kids to know who she was. So many years ago.

"Sidon, they are children. Children! The knowledge of the Calamity and this 'Lost Ganon' situation shouldn't be given to them yet." Her temper was only rising, and usually I wouldn't act out but I was already a bit angry myself.

"Scarlett, they deserve to know. And if you aren't going to tell them, I will." I left to see my father and Scarlett trailed behind me, complaining about how I should be more 'responsible' about these things.

"Grandfather, who's this?" I could here my youngest daughter's voice from the throne room. As soon as Scarlett and I got there, the children were all blabbing about Chrystal but the thing Zippora said got everyone's attention.

"You're _____'s sister?"

Scarlett gasped. The other kids stood in confusion, and my father and I didn't know what to say. Zippora saw Scarlett and I and froze completely.

"I-I meant my mom. My mom's sister." That's all the words she could get out of her mouth.

"Who told you that?!" Scarlett hissed, looking back and forth from Zippora and Zuko.

"I-I-" She started, but I could see the fear in her eyes so I ran over and threw my arms around her, and she instantly latched on to me.

"Scarlett, dear, you shouldn't be so aggressive." Chrystal started.

"They're children, after all. Just like you said." I added, picking Zippora up and letting her rest her head on my shoulder. Scarlett wasn't amused with my comment, and the shock that went over her when she saw Chrystal overpowered that anyways.

"M-Mother?" Chrystal slowly nodded and Scarlett was hesitant for a few seconds, but walked over and reached out for her mother's hand.

"Hello sweetheart. I'm so happy I finally got to meet you." Chrystal and Scarlett both smiled and within seconds they were holding eachother tight.

I was just standing there, smiling as the two were still hugging. But a deep sigh came from my father.

"I hope this won't be the last reunion I'll see." He leaned back and let a small smile return to his face, but it was barely visible. I sighed too, picking my little Zelda up and kissing her cheek.

"It won't be. I promise."
