For those who get the reference from the last chapter;)
'But something felt off about Zuko. Whether his eye color was a shade off or maybe just the light...'
Sidon's POV
I couldn't believe it.
My son. My second oldest child. The eye's I would look into and see nothing but _____. Had me fooled for nine years straight. Making me believe he was ours.
"I-I..." Scarlett stepped away, moving her hand so it knocked over a flower pot on her mother's desk.
*smash*
"Mother I'm so-" She cried out, but Chrystal didn't pay it any attention and cut her off mid sentence.
"Where's my sister?" She glared at him, fists clenched and looking ready for a fight.
"_____?" He started laughing menacingly, pulling a necklace out of his bag.
The necklace I had given to _____ so long ago.
"She's gone." He held it out to show us before throwing it on the table near him.
"What?!" We all gasped, just wanting to strike an attack on him but we knew full well he would be ready and prepared. He only laughed more.
"You think I'd tell you? I couldn't really have killed her if I've been here with you guys all this time. Or have I...?" He raised an eyebrow, smiling and on hand holding the hilt of his sword.
"All of your 'trips out' with the well known traveles. To Rito Village, the Akkala to see Robbie or Gerudo Town. Were really just to make sure your 'prisoners' were suffering weren't they? And then you would hold the travelers hostage?" I could feel my entire body begin to ache. Everything got slightly blurry.
'Don't pass out' I repeated over and over in my mind. '_____ and Zuko need you. Hyrule needs you. You need to stay in control.'
"Wow!" He started clapping, a look of surprise going over his face. "You're so smart! No one could have figured it out faster than you, father."
"That's King Sidon to you." I growled. "Only my children have any right to call me father."
"Very well, King Sidon. Hm, does that mean your wife wanted to be addressed as Queen _____? She never seemed to want that. Well, the next time I see her, perhaps I'll make sure to remember that. If it even has a point, it'll be the last time I'll see her." He shrugged and smirked.
"It will. She'll have you gone in an instant." I had my hand ready to pull out my sword just in case, thank the gods this was the one day I had it on me.
"You think? But will she want to be back here again? What will be left for her once I've finished you off?" His words hurt. Somehow, some way... they hurt. Thinking of what would happen. How it would happen.
"Everyone. You won't lay a finger on them. I'll be dead before anyone else."
"So you're saying she'd do fine without you? I wouldn't be so sure, she's always crying out for you. Yelling at me about not hurting you. I think she'd rather me take her."
I couldn't believe it. I had been right. She was in pain, needing me to take it away. And I couldn't.
"But now, I think I should be getting to back to Hyrule. Or should I say, 'out on one of my trips'. Don't worry, you'll here their last words before yours okay?" He began walking out of the room and anger overwhelmed me.
