Bakugou and Kirishima had been dating for multiple years now, and things had started going.. downhill.

Kirishima sat holding his knees on their shared bed.

His eyes stung painfully.
Is there something wrong with me?
His lover had been out late again, not telling him where he had gone, like usual.
You haven't touched my body
They hadn't gotten to spend any alone time together in months.

They only kissed when he was drunk or upset.
Is there something I can't see?
Kirishima couldn't help but think this was all his fault. He knew from the start he'd never be good enough for the blond.

The problem was, Bakugou had proposed a year ago.

Memories flashed in the back of Katsuki's eyes and he choked.

What is it you're going through?
"Go talk to them, fix it," the stranger assured him.
And we never drive for miles
He slapped a twenty onto the bar, and grabbed his jacket.
Talking like we used to
"Screw this," he muttered as he took ahold of his phone.
Can you feel it fading too?
He typed a text, "If you're up, I just want you to know how much I love you."

Kirishima sobbed silently into his knees, not even hearing when his phone dinged.

'Maybe it would be best to just go to sleep,' he thought.

He shifts his weight on the bed, trying to find a more comfortable position.

Katsuki ran over sidewalks, and through numerous rain puddles.

He could only hope since his phone hadn't buzzed with a reply.

Bakugou rushes up the stairs, and to the entrance of their apartment.

The red head went to pick up his phone.

The door cracked open, and in stepped the missing boy.

The blond walked to the red head, not once lifting his gaze.

"I'm such an idiot," he continued with a broken tone, "I love you, Ei."

Eijirou felt a tear fall as he placed his hands on the other's shoulders.

Bakugou ran his hands up through his lover's hair and pulled him into a sweet, longing kiss.
