Renjun sits on the bench alone, reading a book about life. He always wondered what it is like if he's not the Huang Renjun he is right now, if he's living someone else's life. 

He regrets too many things. He always wished he could change his past, just so that he could live his life easier right now.

He then felt someone's presence beside him, but he didn't even bother to look at the person.

"You like reading books?" 

Renjun turned his head towards the figure, his eyes meeting a pair of a beautiful brown eyes. "What are you doing here?"

Jieun smiled at him. "Nothing, what book are you reading?"

Renjun shrugs, ignoring her words as he continued to read his book. Jieun snickered at his lack of reply, snatching the book from his hand. Renjun turned his head towards her, staring at her in disbelief.

"You read these kinds of books?" 

Renjun rolled his eyes, trying to take his book back but she shook her hand, pushing his hand away. "Wait I wanna see your book!"

"Just go away and leave me alone." He said with his monotone voice

Jieun ignored his words as she continue to flip through the pages of the book. She's never into books like this, to her it's way too serious for her to read. 

She gave him back his book, smiling at him afterwards. "You're an interesting person,"

Renjun took a deep breath, ignoring her words again as he flipped back to the page he was on.

"You still need to teach me horse racing today, you know." She said, leaning her back on the bench

Renjun sighs, putting his book down. "Just leave."

He closed his eyes, trying to be as calm as possible. He's usually not the type to bottle his anger up- he gets mad easily.

Jieun shook her head. "Why? Can't I spend some more time with you? You seem like an interesting person to be with."

"Go away."

Jieun pouted. "But you're alone and I'm a fun person, we should try to get along."

Renjun opened his eyes, his eyes began to change from dark brown to a bright shade of red, staring deeply into her soul. He tried his best to control himself, partly because she's his best friend's sister.

But it's too much for him. She annoyed him- her existence and the way she acts reminds him about her, his long gone best friend. 

Jieun felt her breath hitched as he continued to stare at her, a burning sensation began to bloom inside her. He balled his hand into a fist, trying to hold back his powers.

Jieun watched his eyes turned back to a deep shade of brown as he managed to calm himself down. She was stunned, it's the first time for her seeing anything like that ever before. 

"You," 

Renjun stood up, he didn't even bother to look back at her. "Just stay away if you don't want to get hurt."

With that he left her alone, sitting on the bench with her mind filled with confusion.

"Seriously Jieun? Are you that stupid? He almost took your soul away!" Yejin exclaimed

Jieun frowned, her mind still trying to process everything. "Why though?"

"You're seriously so dumb, you annoyed him! I told you not to mess with him." Yejin said, sighing at what her best friend just did

"But something's strange, I can tell he's holding himself back. Maybe it's because I'm Jaemin's sister, but something about the way he gazed at me tells me there's something else- as if there's another reason of why he tried to control himself." 

Yejin sighed, still not believing what Jieun said. "Why are you so interested in him anyways? Do you like him or something?"

"No I don't! Something about him just attracts my attention and I don't know why. From the first time I saw him, something about me made me keep on looking at him, and I can't take my attention away from him," she said

She looked away, staring at her classroom's window. It's raining outside, and the gloomy weather made her mood change drastically. She hates the rain.

"He's full of mysteries, and I keep on finding myself trying to uncover those mysteries."
