This Shakespearean Sonnet is dedicated to my father and to every soldier who serves his or her country. I highly respect and honor all of you for the sacrifices you make and thank you for your service. Cheers to all of you!

Sonnet #3: "Soldier"

In this world full of war and destruction
A void of darkness, no light shall pass by
A world full of chaos and confusion
Seeing nothing but a black and white sky
As the rain falls down, a man says goodbye
to the person he has to leave behind
"Farewell my beloved, do not sob or cry
I will surely come back so dear, be kind"
Why do these men have to go out and find
a solution to end this raging war
Can't you see the pain and tears they've cried?
They have to go to a place that's so far
To bring peace to their homeland and country
so everyone can live happily
