I'm sitting in the Hufflepuff common. My hand feels numb in a way, like as if it's fallen asleep. Pins and needles almost. Umbridge's "special" quill isn't a very nice one, I found that out the hard way. Turns out, I'm not the first to have this done to. Luna said Harry's had it done to him too. I'm a baby for pain, so I've hid out in the commons since classes ended for the day, I even asked Luna to bring me food, which isn't allowed but I'd rather that then feel the wrath of Umbridge, or hear Draco tell me what not to do.
There's a knock on the barrel, one that's not by a Hufflepuff. I make my way out of the common, I find Luna.
"Hey," she greets me. She hold out a plate. "Are you sure you're alright?"
I nod, "Yeah, I'll be fine. Thank you, though, for bringing me food."
"Of course. Don't be afraid to go see the nurse if your hand doesn't get better."
  "I won't, thank you"
Luna turns to start down the hall back to the great hall. I hear her stop and talk, so I peek at who she's talking with.
Draco. He spots me and leaves Luna after a few last words. I turn and try and get out of talking to him but he calls for me. "(Y/N)."
I stop and feel myself fill with anger. "I'm not interested in talking about what you thinks best for me. You always-" he cuts me off by grabbing my quill scarred hand. "Hey!" I pull it from him. He managed to touch where the scar is, which hurt.
"Let me come into the Hufflepuff common room with you."
"No," I say. "You're not allowed, imagine if Umbridge found out? She'd..." I trail off. I shake my head. "You'd figure out a way out of it, wouldn't you?"
  "Stop," he grits his teeth.
I roll my eyes and let Draco into the common. I sit on one of the couches. Draco stays standing. "You put a skirt back on."
I nod, "Umbridge's idea." I start to eat and Draco sits beside me hesitates but takes my scarred hard. "Hey," I scold him.
"Just let me see." I give in and let him see. "Luna told me," he says. He rubs his thumb over it and I try and pull my hand from his. "Sorry."
I give a small smile, "It's okay." I can't believe Draco actually knows his manners. Kidding. Draco gives me my hand back and stands. He seems annoyed in a way, he's shifting from one foot to another.
"Could you behave yourself?" he's annoyed with me?
"What?" I answer with a question.
"I don't want to see you hurt again, can't you just behave?" I roll my eyes and continue eating but he continues. "What can I do to get you to?"
I look up to him from my plate. "Anything?" I ask. "Or do I have limits?"
Draco sighs. "Give me something and I'll tell you yes or no."
"How's that any fair?" I ask. When Draco doesn't answer I roll my eyes again and think. "Quit Umbridge's club."
  "No."
  "Then I won't," I say.
"You know I can't do that. Something else," he suggests.
"If you can't quit I can't behave," I cross my arms and set my food down beside me but Draco's quick to talk again.
  "Eat."
  "I am," I say.
"Luna told me you skipped lunch, complete, today. So eat," he spits angrily.
"You're not being very fair," I complain again. "There is nothing that I need besides to be able to wear pants and I can't do that."
"What don't you understand about this?" Draco asks. It grows quiet and I pick up my plate again, eating. Draco shifts on his feet again causing me to sigh.
I stand with my plate. "Take this and get out," I say. "Get out of the Hufflepuff common room." I shove the plate into his hands and he gives me a closed mouth snarl.
"If I find out you've gotten yourself another scar I'm going to have it with you."
  "Be my guest."
