I've sat in this room for I don't know how long and am starting to worry. I've heard crashes and breaking glass. So much is being destroyed that I'm worried to see Hogwarts after this. I've built up the courage and have gotten dressed, I'm going to head upstairs to see what's going on. I get out of the bed and make my way upstairs, quickly. When I reach one of the main halls I find students and staff tending to hurt or passed away wizards and witches. I cover my mouth and start to cry, falling to my knees. I was too much of a coward while my friends and fellow classmates fought. Two hands touch my shoulders and I look up to see Luna. She's sad as well but doing better to hide it. She starts to comfort me as I call myself a coward. "-I couldn't help, what's wrong with me?" Luna helps me to my feet, and brings me over to a place to sit.
The suns come up a little more and I've gotten over myself. I've been helping people with healing and/or anything else they need. Students start to leave the room and I follow. Neville is the first person I see, but only a second later I notice the army coming up the bridge and towards the school. Voldemort is in the front and two men have Hagrid by the throat, what's he got? Oh my god. Hagrid's holding Harry in his arms.. is he dead? No, he can't be.
"Who is that Hagrid's carrying?" It's Ron's little sister who asks. "Neville, who is it?"
Voldemort starts to announce, "Harry Potter..." he pauses, "is dead!"
"No, no!" The ginger is quick to start towards Voldemort but an older man stops her.
"Silence!" Voldemort yells. A group of us move closer to Neville and Ron's sister. "Stupid girl. Harry Potter is dead. From this day forth, you put your faith in me." We're all quiet as Voldemort finished with a smile. He turns towards his army, "Harry Potter is dead!" His men, and women, start to laugh. Voldemort himself laughs with them. "And now is that time to declare yourself... Come forward and join us." I see Bellatrix stand on top of a block of rubble. She stands proud. Disgusting. "Or die." No one moves or says anything for a moment.
"Draco." My eyes move frantically looking for him as soon as his father calls for him. I find the blond and hoped he doesn't look my way. "Draco." He's got a sad look in his eyes and a small pout. Draco's hair is slightly curly and he's got dirt on his face. Where has he been?
I know Draco doesn't want to join his father, let alone Voldemort. "Draco," his mother too is asking him to join them. I know he won't say no to her but I don't want to see him join them. "Come."
"No," I whisper. Draco's moved from our side to Voldemort's. As he goes to pass Voldemort he hugs Draco and I can feel the hatred and disgust coming off Draco.
"Ah, well done, Draco. Well done." He then moves from the hug and joins his parents.
"No," I start to cry quietly. My eyes are blurry but I can see Neville moving, limping, towards Voldemort.
"Oh, well, I must say I'd hoped for better," Voldemort says, his army laughing. "And who might you be, young man?" he asks Neville.
"Neville Longbottom." The army laughs again, louder even, due to his last name I assume.
"Well, Neville, I'm sure we can find a place for you in our ranks."
"I'd like to say something," Neville nearly cuts off Voldemort.
"Well, Neville, I'm sure we'd be fascinated to hear what you have to say."
"It doesn't matter Harry's gone," Neville starts.
"Stand down, Neville," someone says.
"People die every day. Friends, family. Yeah... We lost Harry tonight. But he's still with us, in here," he puts his hand over his heart. "So is Fred.. and Remus. Tonks. All of them. They didn't die in vain." Neville looks back at Voldemort and his army. "But you will.. because you're wrong!" Voldemort starts to laugh. "Harry's heart did beat for us. For all of us. This is not over!" Neville pulls out a sword from the Sorting Hat.
Out of nowhere Harry drops out of Hagrid's arms with a grunt. He stands quickly as everyone gasps. "Confringo!" Harry shoots a spell at Voldemort. It's bounces off his snake and into his army. Harry rushes to find cover. Voldemort starts to throw spells at Harry desperately. Death Eaters starts to fly off.
"No! No, come back!" Bella yells. "Lucius! Come back! Come back and fight!" She continues to yell and I watch Draco's mother, Narcissa, start to pull Draco away and towards the bridge. Students and staff rush into the building and wards are being put up fast. Voldemort starts to march towards the castle.
"Neville!" Someone yells for him as he tries to fight Voldemort. All he earns is being thrown into the grand hall. I run for higher ground and start to cast spells to anyone who's trying to get into to castle to fight.
I spot Bellatrix and shoot a spell her way. She looks at me after reflecting my spell. "It's you, girly," she spits. Bella comes over to me and starts to dual with me. I dodge and hide behind a bleacher. She steps over top of the seat I'm under. "You can't hide, you-" she's cut off as a spell come her way. It's Ron's sister. Bella starts to duel with her. I move fast and crawl away and out of the bleachers. I stand and see Bella cast a spell at the Ron's sister. I should really learn her name since she just saved me. Bella smiles evilly. Ron's mother whips around as Bellatrix starts to laugh.
"Not my daughter, you bitch." Ron's mom throws a spell towards Bella but she reflects it. Bell shoots three spells at Ron's mom and laughs. Just as she thinks she's won Ron's mom shoots a few last spells at Bella the last one hitting and killing Bella, turning her to dust. I cheer and smile. Finally the bitch got what she deserves! Everyone continues to fight until we feel it, the weight being lifted.
