This morning I wasn't lucky enough to be woken up by myself. I guess Draco has plans for us. I pull a pillow over my head as soon as the bedroom door opens, it was my first instinct. "Come on, get up," Draco's so loud. I groan at him and get comfy again as it grows silent. "It's nearly," I groan as he starts to talk again, "2:00pm. You've got to get up," Draco says.
"No," my voice is muffled by pillows. Draco snickers making me sit up. "What?" I ask.
He shrugs, "Nothing." I watch his eyes quickly flicker to me from the floor near the foot of the bed. I move down the bed and peer over the edge.
"What is it?" As soon as I ask I find it. "Bugger off," I scold him, throwing a pillow at him. He grabs the pillow as I throw it. He holds it up to block me as I throw another. I settle on the bed, sat on my knees. "It's just a bra, get a grip."
"It's a nice colour," Draco smirks.
"Bugger off," I repeat but let a smile show. It goes quiet so Draco speaks again.
"Are you awake now?" he's joking. I roll my eyes. "Well?"
"Obviously," I smile.
"How about some-. Well I was gonna say breakfast but you sleep through that. How about lunch?"
I nod and laugh a little. "Please..." I pause. "I'm gonna change first."
Draco nods, "Yeah I'll wait in the hall." As soon as the door clicks shut I change out of my pjs and put on some new clothes. After changing, I open the door and find Draco against the wall. "Ready?" I nod in response and we make our way downstairs.
"Good afternoon, master. Waking up late are we?" a house elf greets Draco. I watch Draco hesitate before gaining a snarl and gritting his teeth.
"Afternoon."
I hold in a snort and smile at Draco, "Good job," I tease.
"Mmhhff. Shut it," Draco snaps at me as we walk away from the house elf and enter the dining room. We both take a seat at the table.
"Draco," it's Lucius, and he sounds mad. I watch him enter the room as soon as we both sit. "It's 2:30."
"I don't wanna hear it," Draco spits. Food is set in front of the two of us. Lucius completely ignores Draco and starts up the conversation.
"Why would you even have to sleep in that late? Did you stay up late, why would you be up so late?"
Even I have to roll my eyes at all his dramatized questions, thankfully I don't have to answer them but Draco is quick to dismiss them. "It shouldn't matter. If I was having a good time out with my friends then who cares how long I sleep in?"
"You're getting older," his dad starts.
"Father," Draco grits his teeth.
"I just mean you should be more responsible and focus on other stuff."
Draco sighs, "Like?" He's totally losing his temper. Lucius looks to me, it's more of a glare then a glance.
"Nows not the time." I hide my disgust, he really can't say it in front of me? He holds me that low?
Lucius leaves the room without anymore words and Draco and I are left to eat alone. We finish fairly quickly but throughout the whole time Draco's trying to convince me to go swimming. I'm surprised he's still trying but, he is determined.
We're snapped from our conversation when someone calls for Draco. "-we're leaving the house." It's Draco's mom.
"Alright," Draco calls back. He smiles my way and I shake my head.
"Draco," I mumble. The front door slams shut. It's now just us, and the house elves.
"Come on," Draco starts towards the stairs. He stops before I'm out of his view and looks back at me. "You don't have to be sacred."
"Draco, I'm not." I stand and start towards him, he brings us upstairs and to his room. I look around the room, it's just as neat as the first time I was here, it always is. "I'm not scared, I just don't want to."
"To me you're scared," Draco pushes me, he's trying to tease me, I know, but it's just annoying.
"I can't with you," I say. Draco throws a shirt at me. I catch it, barley, and open it to look it at. "It's a plain white tee."
"Wear it over your swim suit," Draco's digging in his drawer still. I sigh and start to leave the room. "Where are you going?"
I stop at door, "Going to change, isn't that what you want me to do?"
He smiles at me, "Thank you." I return it with a nod and head to my current room. I change and find myself looking in a mirror. Maybe I shouldn't be so self conscious? It's just the two of us anyways. I pull the plain tee over my head and sigh before heading into the hallway. I don't meet Draco until I reach his room again, he's I'm his bathroom. He's in swim trunks, some blue striped ones, and has a towel over his shoulder. I knock on the open door, "Ready?"
When he looks my way he smile, "Yeah, are you?"
I roll my eyes and gain a smile, "Yeah."
