I stick my tongue out at Draco, "Move back two spaces." He rolls his eyes and moves. We're sat on his rug at the foot of his bed playing 'Sorry' or 'Trouble'.
"How come you're so good at this game? Especially if you haven't played in so long?"
I shrug, "Beginners luck?" Draco smiles and shakes his head.
"Beginners luck my ass."
"What did you just say?" I ask laughing.
"Nothing, just go." I pick a card and read it with a grin. "What now?"
"'Move forward 3 spaces'," I say. Draco hangs his head jokingly.
"And just like that, she wins."
I smile and throw my hands up. "How's it feel to be a loser?" I tease him.
"Oh shut it," Draco smiles and tossed a couple cards at me.
"Hey," I joke. We sit in silence before Draco comes over to me. He kisses me and slightly pushes me so I take the hint and lay down. We keep hold of the kiss and Draco even smiles through it before we have to pull away for air.
"Was that my prize?" I ask. "For winning?"
Draco shrugs, "It could be." I go to kiss Draco again but we're interrupted by a knock at the door. "Yeah?" Draco calls. He climbs off me before the person at the door can open the door.
It's Narcissa. She clears her throat. "Your father wants to speak with you, Draco."
"We're in the middle of a game, can he wait?" Draco lies. Narcissa shakes her head.
"I'll watch over (Y/N) for you. Go on," she says. Draco nods to her, stands, and gives me a small smile. Draco leaves the room and I sit awkwardly in front of Narcissa.. on the floor. The door closes and Narcissa clears her throat again. "Well.. Draco seems happier now that you're here, so uh.. thank you."
I give her a smile, a very small one. I'm not sure if she's being genuine. "Yeah, thank you."
  "I really do mean it."
I smile to try and be more genuine, "I believe you."
"I apologize if we," she refers to her household, "seem to show our appreciation differently.. and I know others lack, but I'm working on it," she smiles.
"You mean Lucius?" It's sorts out of my place to ask but I do without thinking. Narcissa nods.
"He's stubborn but I see how Draco looks at you." Narcissa seems to have a look in her eye, like a reminisce she misses from her younger years. "He really does like you," she smiles again. "I just hope Lucius can get past that."
I feel awkward. Where do I go from there? Do I thank her or simply just sit here and accept her compliment, if you can call it that. Before I can answer the door opens again and in comes Draco.
  "Come on, we're leaving."
   I stand, "What?"
"Where are you going?" Narcissa asks. "What did your father say?"
"Nothing of importance, he's just being a prick."
"Draco," I scold. I didn't really think before I spoke but when I look to Narcissa she looks like she was gonna do the same.
"We need to get you some new clothes anyways. You can't keep wearing mine and switching back to yours once they're clean." I roll my eyes.
"When will you be back?" Narcissa asks.
"Dinner, maybe. Once father calms down let him know he should learn to keep his opinion to himself."
Draco takes my hand into his to persuade me to follow. We make our way to the door. "Where are you going?" Lucius is quick to stop us.
"I can't be around you anymore," Draco spits. I keep my head down and my eyes to the floor. Draco passes me my shoes but just as he does the front door opens and we're all met with Bellatrix. Behind her is a group of goons, a couple holding kids. I look at the kids but before I can react Draco puts an arm in front of me and tells me to go up stairs. "-go, now." I nod and head towards the stairs. From the distance I can hear Bella. She's loud enough.
"What perfect timing for the family to meet up." I shut her out as I shut Draco's bedroom door. Was that who I thought it was? How did they find them?
