Some Shit Always Happens

It had been a week since Jay grounded me. Every now and then I would sneak the boys into the my house without Jay noticing. It was now Sunday and me and the boys were hanging at my house playing a game they found on TikTok.

They spin the water bottle and it lands on Mattia. We all run when he picks up the egg.
He throws the egg at me and it hits my calf muscle. I immediately fall to the ground.

Bri: ahhh fuck that shit hurt
Mattia: haha
Bri: I can't get up
Mattia: stop being dramatic
Bri: I'm being serious Mattia
Mattia: fine I'll help you up
When he bends over to pick me up, I slap him in the face and run
Bri: haha that's what you get
Mattia:shut the fuck up
I get a call from my mom but ignore it.

We all go inside and eat snacks and get drinks. We decide to just chill and watch movies. I get a call from my mom again but ignore it. We get bored so we make a couple of TikToks and go on live. I got a call from my mom while on live but ignore it again. It was nighttime and the boys were still there. I get a call from my sister and answer it.

Bri: hello
Roseanna: hey what are you doing
Bri: nothing just chillin
Roseanna:oh has mommy called you
Bri: yeah but I've been ignoring her cuz she was just probably gonna talk crap
Roseanna: oh she's been calling you to tell you she has cancer
Bri: what?
Roseanna: yeah she has cancer and it's bad Bri. Really bad
Bri: you're fucking lying
Roseanna: I'm being deadass
Bri: Oh my fucking gosh bro when she find out
Roseanna: today
Bri: Well lemme call you back later
Roseanna: ok bye
Bri: bye
I walk back into my room
Kai: who called you
Bri: my sister
Kai: what happened
Bri: nothing uhh ima go to the restroom
Kai: ok

I close the door and walk to the mirror. I look at myself in the mirror and take a deep breath out. Then suddenly tears started pouring out my eyes and I sank to the floor. A little while later all the boys walked in and I jumped up. I quickly wiped my tears away.

Alvaro: why are you crying
Kai: are you okay
Bri: yeah I'm fine
I say as I push past them to go back in my room.
Ale: you sure
Bri: yeah guys I'm fine
Mattia: it doesn't look like it.
Ro: bri if there's something wrong just tell us
I looked at Ro and started crying again.

Ro went and hugged me. Then all the boys went in creating a group hug.

Bri: my mom has cancer and it's like right when everything's going good some shit always happens
Ale: I'm sorry
Ro: it gonna be okay
Mattia: I don't get it
Bri: get what?
Mattia: you're crying over a lady who has caused you so much pain your entire life.
Bri: Bro are you serious?
Mattia: I mean yeah, you're showing sympathy for a lady who talks crap about you
Bri: it doesn't matter Mattia she still gave birth to me. She still pushed me out of her fucking vagina. Even through everything she's put me through she was still there when my dad wasn't. She still put a roof over my head and food in my mouth. I can't deal with this shit right now.
I say throwing my phone at the wall and walking out of my room
Kai: I'll come with you
Bri: no Kai please I need to be alone.
Kai: But-
Bri: Kai please
Kai: ok
He said with a sad face

I walk to the hallway and start crying. I can't find a way to stop. Somebody walks out of my room and I turn around to see Mattia

Bri: hey are you good? Did anything happen?
I say wiping away my tears
Mattia: yeah no everything's good it's just that I wanted to say sorry-
Bri: Mattia just hug me
I say wrapping my arms around him
Mattia: everything's gonna be okay
He says hugging back and stroking my hair.
Mattia: lets get ice cream and go for a drive
Bri: ok

So we all get in the car and drive to McDonald's and get sundaes( yes the ice cream machine works in this fanfic). We drive around listening to sad music. Me and all the boys scream our lungs out to the songs. Just doing stuff like this and being around the boys makes me feel better. We get to the house and decide to watch sad movies.

Alvaro: I gotta go can you drop me off
Bri: yeah I'll drop all of y'all off
As we walk out Mattia pulls me back
Mattia: hey are you good
Bri: yeah I'm fine
Mattia: well just in case can I stay over?
Bri: Mattia I promise you I'm fine.
Mattia: Im staying over
Bri: ok

So we go and drop all the boys off. Right when we're about to pull up to the house Mattia asks me something.

Mattia: can you take me to get some clothes because I have a morning practice.
Bri: yeah what time is the practice
Mattia: 6
Bri: I'll take you
Mattia: K
So we get to his house and his mom opens the door.
Mattia: hey ma
He says hugging his mom.
His Mom: hey whose this
Mattia: this is bri my friend
His Mom: your friend or your girlfriend
Bri: were just friends and it's nice to meet you
I say shaking her hand
Mattia's Mom: nice to meet you too
She says smiling
Mattia: well I'm gonna get sum clothes cuz they I'm staying the night at Bri's
He says walking away
Mattia's Mom: so you're the reason my son's grades have been improving
Bri: he just needed a little push that's all
Mattia's Mom: well thank you anyways
Bri: you're welcome
Mattia comes back
Mattia's Mom: maybe you and the boys can have dinner with us tomorrow
Mattia: ma she just met you
Bri: no it's fine I'll come early to help you cook
Mattia's Mom: if you would like to you're more than welcome
Bri: it was nice meeting you
I say hugging her and walking out the door
Mattia's Mom: I like her
Mattia: Ma stop
Mattia's Mom: What?
Mattia: Ciao ma I love you
