yes, that one. so apparently the character they wrote in, the one you auditioned for, was added too late after auditions so they asked for certain people to send in tapes, which you know because they asked for you. they confirmed it with me yesterday that they decided not to ask for anymore tapes or do anymore auditions because they want you. i woke up to an email, you need to fly to south carolina today

okay so 5 friends who live on the outer banks, the name of the show, they're looking for treasure and there's people trying to kill them at one point i think. i can't remember much. it's kind of like a modern day goonies, sort of. i think it's a good project, it'll do really well. plus it's netflix. i think you'll really love it

IT WASN'T SYDNEY'S IDEAL SITUATION. There was nothing worse for her than having to get on a flight last minute for work. She had nothing prepared and she didn't have time to sort everything out. Sydney normally took days to pack before flying somewhere to film, never less than 4 hours. So she was freaking out a little when she was trying to pack everything she needed. Thankfully, Mark, her agent, had helped and calmed her down.

By 10, she had her suitcases all packed and she had said goodbye to her dog, Tank. Mark was going to take Sydney to the airport and then go back to her apartment to take Tank home with him. He'd then fly out to South Carolina with her so Sydney could have her there while filming. It wasn't as easy to get dogs flights last minute.

While Sydney was waiting for her flight, she'd called her parents just to let them know where she'd be for the next four months. Her parents had lived in Washington but still visited their daughter every few months if they could, so she needed to let them know she would be in a different state and they wouldn't be able to visit.

Mark had emailed Sydney the script for the first episode and some extra things the director wanted her to know for her to read on the plane. The only thing Sydney didn't know at this point was who the other actors were. Netflix usually casted new actors in their shows and movies so she probably wouldn't have known anyone by name but it would've been nice to know still.

During her flight, Sydney had read through the script and her lines. She had a little backstory on her character and her history with the other characters. Sydney found out that her and one of the other main characters had some rocky history and they had to play enemies. She knew that it would change in later episodes as Mark had told her that her character and the other character would end up together in the end. So Sydney knew she'd probably be kissing some stranger on set but it was nothing she wasn't used to. Euphoria had worse scenes for her to film.

Overall, Sydney was excited. The circumstances weren't ideal but she knew she would have a good time. She just hoped there would be nothing to ruin that.

okay so boring chapter. i know, i just wanted to set the storyline out first. also i didn't cast mark as anyone because he won't be in it a lot so you can imagine him as anyone you like. i'm currently imagining him to look like darren criss for some reason, if that helps.
i promise next chapter will be way better, rudy will be making his appearance 👀
