IT WAS ANOTHER NIGHT OUT FOR THE CAST. They'd just finished their third week of filming, nearly a whole month, so they wanted to celebrate. Sydney knew they'd all end up going back out a week later to celebrate one month of filming but any excuse to go out and have fun was okay with her. Madison and Jonathan had chosen the place to go. It was all mostly outdoors so Sydney made sure to cover up. Wearing jeans and a cardigan and the bad idea was wearing heeled boots because she ended up on her feet for most of the night.

Tequila had been brought and before Sydney knew it, she was dancing in front of lots and lots of strangers with the girls. It was as though everyone had stopped to watch them and Sydney wished she cared enough to stop but the alcohol in her system stopped her from caring about anything.

Later on in the night, when more people were dancing so everyone seemed to stop watching people dance, Sydney had ended up dancing with Drew. She hadn't really spent as much time with him like she had with some of the others, only just filming her first scene with Rafe a few days prior but it was a pretty intense scene so the two had to spend at least an hour together alone, no other cast members on set. But she was already getting along with him very well.

Sydney had been fine dancing with Drew and the others, she was enjoying herself and she was happy. And Rudy was never a jealous person, not even when him and Sydney were together. Despite the unwanted attention Sydney got a lot of the time. But Rudy couldn't say he had enjoyed watching Sydney and Drew together. And maybe that's why he'd found himself so close to Elaine. Which Sydney had definitely noticed.

Sydney knew Rudy and Elaine were friends, but they were no closer than anyone else. Elaine had pretty standard friendships with all of them. So it was rather puzzling to Sydney when she noticed that Rudy and Elaine had sat with each other for most of the night, alone. And it wasn't that Sydney was jealous in any way, she had no reason to be despite the fact she was a very jealous person usually, it just felt weird. It wasn't nice seeing an ex getting so close to someone else, no matter what relationship you had with them.

But it seemed as though that even though Sydney kept telling herself she wasn't that bothered, she was bothered. Which was why she bolted. Well, she left Madelyn to go to the bar alone and never said anything to her friend when she did leave. The music that was playing faded in her ears the further Sydney got away and when she'd reached the bar, she almost felt like she was going to be sick from the amount of tequila she had consumed. It was nothing about seeing Rudy so close to someone else, that's what she told herself.

Unbeknown to Sydney, Madelyn had followed her to the bar and had entered sat down beside Sydney on a bar stool. "Sydney, hey, you okay? Why'd you rush off like that?" Madelyn asked, slowly sitting down beside Sydney.

Sydney nearly jumped at Madelyn's voice, she hadn't noticed that she'd approached her. "I'm fine. Just suddenly felt really sick. Maybe taking all those shots was a bad idea." Sydney laughed, leaning against the bar as she turned her head around to face Madelyn.

"Nothing else bothering you? You sure you're good?" Madelyn asked again, not really believing Sydney a hundred percent. She'd seen the look on Sydney's face when she left, it didn't just look like she had just felt sick.

Sydney nodded. "Nope, I'm good. Totally good. Just need to stop drinking and sit down for a while, I think. Going to order myself a water." She told Madelyn, giving her a smile. Madelyn grabbed Sydney's hand, in aid to comfort her, she knew something was bothering her but didn't want to push Sydney too much. Madelyn waited for Sydney to get her drink before they walked back hand in hand to where their friends were.

They girls had sat down on the opposite side of the booth that Rudy was sitting at. Thankfully, he was sitting with Jonathan instead. He only glanced in Sydney's direction for a second but that second was long enough for him to tell something was wrong.

Sydney had stayed in the same position for the rest of the night, trying to sober up. Drew had joined her at one point to see if she was okay and the two spoke for a while. Drew liked speaking to Sydney and she liked talking to him. It was nice to speak to different people and be in the company of someone else. It also took her mind off the weird feeling that she had been feeling, jealousy maybe if that was even what it was, Sydney wasn't too sure. All she knew was that she needed to sort things out properly with Rudy, she needed closure so she didn't feel that way while seeing him so close to someone else. Which meant they needed to talk, they needed to have a proper conversation about everything.
