Backstage

Chapter 37

I could hardly believe it was all over! My first term here at Birmingham was drawing to a close and I hardly knew how to react. It had been amazing! I was sat on Elle's bed while she packed her things ready to head off to Brighton for Christmas. Marcus and Alfie where going with her as they to lived there. Caitlin was heading up to Edinburgh and Daisy was going home to her cottage in Wiltshire. The term had gone so quickly. It felt like only yesterday I was unpacking!

"Last of the stuff now" Elle smiled cheerily towards me

"I can't believe we are leaving campus life forever!" I smiled " I have only been here a term!"

"I know goodbye communal showers" Elle giggled. Me and the group had found a large house with 4 bedrooms and we where going to divide the rent. We were keen to leave the halls into our on place and although me and Caitlin and Alfie and Marcus where sharing rooms we knew it would be worth it!

"Hooray" I laughed standing up to answer the door. It was Alfie.

"God this place looks so bare!" He glanced around all of Elle's things had been moved to the house along with the rest of our things.

"It feels right going though" Elle through a glance at the Alfie

"True" I smirked

"What time are we going to London" Alfie quizzed

"9:13 you better be ready" I joked reflecting on the time we missed to trains as he refused to wake up.

"I will. I will" He protested but laughing "anyway I am round Daisy's halls tonight so I can't forget"

"Let's hope she has a air horn" Elle teased whilst folding a jumper

"Funny" Alfie joked "you going round Marcus' halls tonight or you staying alone Elle"

"Nah Marcus is coming round here, he should be here soon." Elle smiled

"And Belle will be all alone" Alfie joked

"Yes Alfie" I sniggered cooly.

"Not with Josh then?" Alfie continued

"No. I guess you could say we're talking" I tried to sound convinced. Josh was a great lad and he was a laugh but the truth was I hadn't got over how stupid I had been to let Tom get away. These lot knew nothing off Tom which I couldn't work out was a good or bad thing. I was returned to the conversation by Marcus entering. He kissed Elle before sitting down next to me.

"Flex?" He asked

"Yep!" I smiled

"Where's Daisy and Caitlin?" Marcus asked

"Packing the last of Cait's stuff" Elle replied

After half an hour here we where celebrating our last night out in Birmingham for 2014. I was sat at the bar talking to Marcus and Elle for the first part. Marcus and Alfie always brought me and Cait drinks as well as there girlfriends. I sipped on my JD coke and lime when Marcus winked at me and Elle smiled before they stood up and wandered off. I looked up and saw Josh appear. He really was hot, God my heart was racing.

"Hey chic" he smiled "celebrating your last night here for 2014"

"Yes, what about you?" I giggled slightly

"Nah I am here for another week so I will come out Friday" he smiled. "Hey fancy passing on tonight and coming to mine?"

"Sure" I smiled

I wandered back up to the halls it was 7 o'clock and headed down the corridor to the much loved communal showers. I passed Alfie,Marcus and Joe on the way .

"Goodnight Belle you still single?" They teased. I laughed slightly but never got round to replying. I would see them soon anyway as we were heading to norwich the whole lot of us. We were having a meal and going out with Esme and Millie who would soon be going to there separate ways for Christmas. We were all going to London christmas shopping tomorrow to.
