Backstage

Chapter 17

With only 2 days on the Island left, Eddie and myself decided to visit the alpaca and donkey sanctuary which I had told him about. When I had been 14, the first time I had come over with my family, we did all sorts of crazy things but it had been a great holiday, so since then we had come back at least once each year.

Eddie had been the cutest and proved how much we meant to each other over the week, after knowing each other 6 months, we had been on a worlwind of a jouney, but somehow we had hung onto each other, and now it looked hopeful of a future together. The day out had been good and it was funny to see how things had changed, but with only 2 days left, we decided to go to the ocean deck for an evening meal. After a few days of mad clubbing, getting drunk, and up until early hours in the morning, we thoyght it was best we settled down before returning back to our life back in Norwich.

The pair of us had barely spent more than a night together, but this week had been very different, and I just hoped that when we went back we might see each other a bit more, and maybe he could move in with me in the near future, but all I knew was there was many great things to come. Yes life isnt always great but right now together we were at a good point in both our lives, and people and animals around us that made us happy. 

I had missed the girls though it was weird since we moved in together the longest we had gone without seeing each other was a weekend, I couldnt wait to see them, and tell them about everything, but I just hoped they had all been enjoying themselves, and belle had maybe found someone. Esme had sent me a short clip of the filiming that had been going in and it was amazing, I knew she was good at the film and editing work, but this was incredible, I looked forward to seeing the finished  version in a couple of weeks.

That reminded me when I got back I had just over 3 and a bit months of my course left, and once I had finished that I could do a bit more competion word with sugar, and hopfully find myself a job in rahabilitating horses ponies and donkeys, whilst I did my part time work at a vetinary practice. Ever since I was young I had wanted to work with horses that had been injured, or treated inhumanly, beacuse I knew I had to give something back to these animals, and providing them with new homes, would be perfect, but knowing it wouldnt necessarily bring in enough money, so working in vetinary would provide me with enough to be able support me and sugar and maybe others aswell.

The sun was setting as we sat on the decking of the restuarant, then all of a sudden he brought out of his pocket a small box, oh dear no not yet I am not ready for that I thought, I love him to him, but I dont believe in rushing into things, but much to my relief it was a bracelet with out names ingraved in the back, it was the sweetest present. After kissing him as a thankyou, we ate our meals, which tasted good, suprosingly I hadnt had fish and chips all week, eventhought we had been by the sea.

Yet again the evening was perfect, and when back at the b and b we lay on the trampoline; we hadnt grown up quiet yet! The evening was warm and we were the only guests as the half term for most people had ended but for us we had a extra few days till college. Rolling about laughing i snuggled into his warm arms, and we spoke for a while before evemtually going up to our room.

There were only a few people I had slept with when I wasnt drunk, but me and eddie hadnt yet gone the full way, however tonight was different, tonight he asked whether i wanted too. I had never been so madly in love and so why not, and that had made that holiday even more perfect than it already was. We woke up late and had a bath together in our jacuzzi bath, befoer getting ready for breakfast, then after going for a walk along the beach. The weather wasnt as good now unfortualty, but we had been lucky so I didnt mind as much.

Driving onto the top deck of the ferry the rain began to fall, which didnt make it feel as bad going back to college. The holiday was better than I had ever expected and I would soon be back but I was excited about going to see sugar, Emily had been keeping me updated on her hich had been good, also I think a girls night out with Belle and Esme was required.

The journey home seemed to go on for ever as fast as you got out of traffic you would get stuck again, so I fell asleep half way back, but woke up just before we reached norwich. Eddie dropped me of and promised to pop round tomorrow at some point.

When I got back I remembered everyone was over at the film set across the road, which i hadnt yet seen but decided i would unpack, and put some trackies on and go up there and see them.

I walked in behind the others making them jump, which I found quiet funny, not sure if they would agree but oh well. I also got to meet the rest of Esmes group as so far I had only met Dan, they were all so lovely despite never meeting them I felt welcome. Belle and Esme aksed in syncronize how I had got on. I told them about a few bits and pieces but thoguht it was best to tell them over dinner later, as I didnt want to take up to much of there time, so I watched some of there filming, before going back to or flat to pu the tea on so it would be ready when they got back.
