Betty sat in the diner, her mind on Jughead, as she gazed out the window. She was in her own little world, so deep that she didn't even notice her best friend seated in front of her.
"Earth to betty." Veronica saves her hand in front of Betty's face.
"Oh hey." Betty turned to Veronica's face.
"I thought I lost you there, for a second." Veronica joked. Betty giggled.
"I got you a milkshake." Betty pushed the glass of milkshake closer to veronica.
"Ooo chocolate my favorite." She sipped the straw. "So any news on beanie boy?" Veronica looked at betty. A smile creeped on Betty's face,
"No..." Veronica pouted. "Well...he did smile at me." Veronica looked at her.
"He's always smiling at you." Veronica giggled. Betty shrugged as she heard the door chime. Her head shot up as her eyes darted at her sister and Jughead. Polly walked passed the booth.
"Wait I thought you were going to that party..."betty brushed her hand against Polly's arm.
"It was canceled." Was all polly said before sitting across from her boyfriend, in the booth behind them. Veronica just stared behind Betty.
"Speak of the devil." Veronica brought her eyes, back to the attention of Betty.
"Yeah..." her voice trailed off, as Archie and the rest of the bulldogs powered into the diner, laughing. "Are you and Archie still arguing?" Betty took a sip out of her milkshake.
"I think so." Veronica answered. Archie's eyes met Betty's, they smiled at each other.
"What?" Veronica asked as she friends her head to see who betty was smiling at. "Let the towers tumble." Veronica rolled her eyes. Archie made his way to the booth, and started to sit next to Veronica.
"Nope." Veronica put her hand in front of him, blocking him from sitting down. "Not until you admit, that I'm right and you're wrong." Veronica looked him dead in the eyes. Archie gripped the bridge of his nose.
"Jesus Ronnie...you're right, okay, and I'm sorry." Archie said honestly.
"Hm, good enough." Veronica slid over, as Archie climbed in the booth next to her. Betty just giggled.
"What?" Archie asked.
"Nothing." Betty smiled.
"So, since we're all here I was thinking we could go to the drive in." Veronica shrugged. "For old times sake." She added.
"I don't see a problem in that." Archie shrugged.
"Depends on the movie." Betty winked. She always asked that question.
"Ironically, they're playing
'The Titanic'" Veronica smiled.
"Our favorite." Betty stated.
"I brought the truck, we could use the tailgate." Archie told them.
"Perfect!" Veronica exclaimed. Betty smiled at the two.
"I agree."

Archie helped both Betty and Veronica into the truck as he drove about two minutes down the road.

Archie once again helped the two girls out of the truck.
"Thank you." Betty replied. Betty looked down at her phone to see a missed call from her mom. Her mom called once again.
"Hold on guys, my mom's calling." She answered the phone shortly after.
"Hey mom."
"Elizabeth where are you, I thought you were at pop's?" She asked.
"Sorry, Archie just drove us to the drive in, I should be home by ten." Betty spike into the phone.
"Alright, just be safe, is your sister with you?" Her mom questioned. Betty let her eyes roam around the parking lot, her eyes landed on Jughead and polly making out against Jughead's black mustang. She sighed.
"Uh, yeah she's here, and Jughead is too." She answered.
"Oh good, tell Jughead I said hi." Betty could feel her mom smile.
"I will." Betty hung up the phone.
"Ugh, they're disgusting." Veronica crossed her arms after looking at Polly and Jughead.
"Tell me about it." Betty rolled her eyes. Archie set up the tailgate, he usually kept two blankets behind the seats of the truck. Archie helped the girls onto the tailgate. Betty smiled and sat down as the movie began.
"Ooo let me go get some snacks." Betty told them.
"Get me-" Betty cut archie off,
"Gummy bears?" She asked, he nodded in response, "and you want licorice, with a cherry cola?" She turned her head to veronica.
"You know me well." She answered. Betty jumped off and walk towards the "snack bar"

"Hey Betty." The man said.
"Hey Jerry, busy night?" She asked, making conversation with the 'snack man'
"Yeah, the busiest all year." He grabbed her usual order, since he new it so well.
"I mean, who doesn't like the titanic?" Betty giggled. He smiled at her. He passed her, the snacks,
"Enjoy." He winked at her. As Betty walked back she accidentally walked into someone.
"Oh sorr- oh it's you." Betty looked up to see a familiar crown beanie.
"You don't seem too happy." He chuckled.
"Because I'm not." She tried to walk away, but he gripped her arm and chuckled.
"I see right through you cooper." He winked at her, and he let her go. She rolled her eyes as she walked back to Archie's truck.

"Took you long enough." Archie joked. Betty through a hand full of popcorn at his face.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't planning on Jughead grabbing my arm either." She made her way up the next to them.
"Excuse me what?" Veronica poked her head up from Archie's chest.
"I don't want to talk about it." Betty replied. Veronica shrugged and glued her eyes back on the movie screen.
