Chapter 42

(3 week later)

I'm eating breakfast and get a text from Gaten.

(Gaten👨‍🎤)  hey, do you wanna go to the mall?

(You) YEEEE

(Gaten👨‍🎤) haha okay I'll see you there 30 minutes?

(You) yep, see you there!

"Mom can I go to the mall with Gaten?" I ask. "Absolutely!" She says.

(Your Moms pov)

Y/n hasn't left the house since Finn....
So to hear she wants to go to the mall, I had to say yes!
"I'll drive you." I say. "Okay!" Y/n says.

(Your pov)

I get in Moms car. It feels good to get some fresh air.

We arrive at the mall. "Thanks Mom, bye!" I say. "Bye!" She says and drives away. Gaten isn't here yet, so I just wait outside.

I see Noah. "Hey Noah!" I say. "Oh Y/n hi! Uh, how have you been holding up?.." he says. "Well, the last 3 weeks have been terrible, but I feel kind of okay now." I say.

I was lying.

"That's great!" Noah says. I see Gaten. "Oh, I better go Gaten is here." I say. "Okay bye!" He say.

If I'm honest, this whole 2 weeks I've been texting Noah. He has made me feel a tiny bit better. Which I really appreciate. We also decided to still fake date.

"Hi!" I say to Gaten. "Hey!" He says and hugs me. I hug back. "Well, I decided to book it, since you know paparazzi and fans." He says. "Oh yeah good." I say and we go inside.

We start shopping.

( 20 minutes later)

"Food court next!" Gaten says. "Haha okay." I say and we walk over. "Okay, umm I'll get Burger King." I say and walk to Burger King. "Yeah I'll get some too." Gaten says.

"AAAAAAAAHHHH!" I scream.
"Noah!" I yell. "Uh, sorry I didn't mean to scare you that bad.." he says.
"Uhm it's okay.." I say.

Millie, Sadie and Caleb walk over to me from behind. "God, stop scaring meeee!" I say.

Millie gives me a candle. "Uh, thanks..?" I say. "Turn it upside down." She says and I turn it upside down. There is a note that reads: " will" 
Sadie gives me a candle and tells me to turn it upside down. I do as I'm told. It reads: "you"
Weird...
Caleb gives me a candle and tells me to do the same. So I do. It reads: "be my"
Ummm..?
"Uh, I'm confused.." I say. Gaten gives me a candle. I turn it upside down. It reads: "girlfriend"

"Wait.." I say. Noah stands in front of me. "Uh, will you?" He says. "Ask me." I say. "What?." He says. "Asks me." I say. "Um, Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" He says. "Ummm YES!" I say.

He kisses me. I hear Millie, Caleb, Sadie and Gaten cheering in the back round.

After a while we leave the mall.  My Mom was waiting for me outside. I kiss Noah on the cheek. "Bye guys!" I say to everyone. Mom drives away.
