Chapter 34

"What are you doing here?!" I ask Noah. "I could ask you the same thing!" He says. "I'm on a date with Matt!" I say. "Oh... I'm on a date with Charli!" He says. "And you had to pick here?!" I say. "No, she took ME here!" He says.

"Well what do we do?!" I say. "I don't know! Ugh, forget it, I'm getting Charli so we can leave." He says. "Thank you..." I say and he leaves.

After a minute or two Noah comes back.
"Y/n..." He says. "What?" I say. He doesn't say anything. Oh my god he's scaring me.

"Noah what is it?!" I say. "I seen Matt and Charli kissing..." He says. "What?..." I say. He hugs me. I hug him back.

Why did Matt do this?! I thought he liked me..

We separate from the hug. "I'm going home." Noah says. "Okay." I say.
Matt and Charli come in the room. They act like nothing happened.
They both sit down. Noah and I look at each other.

"Do you think I'm stupid?!" Noah says to Charli. "I thought you liked me!!.." I say to Matt. Charli and Matt look at each other. "I can't believe you..." I say and leave.

I start walking back home. Ugh it's cold.

Why does my 'love life' have to be like THIS?' I'm not even going to call it a love life. I've only been in love once.... but that's ruined....

I hear running behind me. I turn around. It's Noah. "Hey.." I say. "Uh hey.. How are you feeling?" He asks. "I mean, I wasn't that serious with Matt anyways..." I say.

It was kind of a lie. I did like Matt. A lot.

"Yeah, I think Charli was using me for clout..." Noah says. I feel bad for him. He sees I'm cold and gives me his jacket.

We start talking. It felt amazing. Just talking again like friends! It didn't even feel awkward at all!

We arrive at my house. "Thank you, that made me feel a lot better." I say. "No problemo!" He says. I give him back his jacket. "Bye!" I say and go inside.

I check the time. It's 8:01. I put some food in the oven.

My Mom comes in. "Hey sweetie, how was it?!" She asks. "Amm, I'd rather not talk about it..." I say.

I take my food out of the oven. "Oh okay.." She says and leaves the room.
Yes, Noah did cheer me up, but I still feel somewhat sad because of what Matt did.

I eat my food and go to bed. I don't sleep though, I FaceTime Finn. I tell him everything. "Matt wasn't right for you anyway." He says. "I guess..." I say.

He doesn't seem shocked at all.....
Weird...

But then again, Finn is just weird in general.

We FaceTime until 2:53am. "Okay, I gotta go to beddd." I say. "Aww man." He says. "Heheee byeee!" I say. "Bye.." He says. I hang up.

I feel 10x better now!!

The next day.

Well, Sunday!! I can stay in bed!!!

Or at least that's what I thought.

I check my phone and see over 100 messages. I look at them.
