Ryan's Point of View

I never really knew how to pretend something na hindi ko naman talaga nature. I just remember a little girl hugging her siblings while shaking because she was afraid.

Her father died that night because he was shot by someone we didn't know. Her mother filed a case againsts us but we won.

"Anak, gusto ko sanang makiusap sa iyo. Alam kong hindi mo gawain ito dahil you always shows yourself, your true colors. But I want you to please, look out for Cris' first child. Her name is Anne Marie Sean, but they call her as Sean."

"Why?" I asked my father.

"Anak, I want them to be safe." he said.

"They filed a case againsts us, Pa!" nahihibang na ba si Papa? They filed a case against us and now? He's asking me to look out for that girl?

"I know, pero ayaw mo ba noon? Para mapatunayan nating wala tayong kasalanan sa nangyari. I'm sure Cris is still mad at us. She's grieving much for her husband's death."

Hindi ko alam kung paano ako tatanggi kay Papa, kaya lang ayoko siyang biguin.

From afar, I watched the little girl grow into tough lady. She acts like a man in her age. She has a strong personality and appearance, you can see it even you are too far from her.

"Your only mission to keep her safe until she married. You can still play with your girls, Ryan. But keep in mind that they are safe especially her first born, understood?"

Pumipitik-pitik lang ako habang naghihintay na ma dismiss ang pasok namin, tinapik ako ni Rhenz.

"Yow bro."

"Tol, may tatanong ako." Aniya saka umupo sa harapan ko. "Stalker kaba ni Sean?"

Kumunot ang noo ko, sino namang Sean? Stalker? Ako? Sa gwapo kong to?

"Ano ba tol! Sa mukhang to? Stalker?"

Nagsalubong ang kilay niya, "Nakita kita kahapon sinundan mo iyong sasakyan nila. Nakita ka rin ni Rain."

Bigla kong naalala ang sasakyan ng pamilya ni Ma'am Cris. Ano nga bang pangalan ng anak niyang pinapasunod sa akin?

"Yung tomboy ba?" I asked. Tumawa siya, "Boy, walang nakakatawa."

"Hindi siya tomboy, tol. Crush ko nga iyon eh!"

Rhenz went to Manila after we graduated on high school. Madalas ako lang mag isa kasama ang iilang mga babaeng napagbabaligtad ko ang mga pangalan.

"Hey, baby Jean."

"Hmp! I am not Jean, I am Nette!" aniya.
