Chapter 1"Marisse, what did you do? Bakit biglang nagback out yung isa sa mga investors natin?!" my dad, frustratedly said.
"What? Just like that, you’re shouting at me?" hindi makapaniwalang ani ng aking ina.
He sighed, "No it's not like that, but, that investor is such a jem for our business!"
Here we go again, everytime I'll go downstairs every morning ito ang madadatnan ko. I don't know if they're not contented in the money that we have.
Well for me it's enough. I have educational support. I can buy all the things that I want, but I know may kulang and they can't give it to me.
Wow Xy, naisip mo pa talaga ‘yun?
"Oh well, I’m sorry okay? He backout anyway." inis na sabi ni Mommy.
Magsasalita pa sana si Daddy but I cut it out, "Dad, Mom, can you please stop fighting? It's early in the morning and here you are fighting." asik ko sa kanila.
Can't they just shown me a good in good morning? Or make me feel that it’s me who’s more important than their business?
"Honey, I'm so sorry if you always caught us fighting. We just have a problem in our business." my dad said like it was my first time to hear it.
Yeah right, your damn business again.
They are my parents. I should respect them even though I don’t feel it.
Mom sighed, "Just focus on your study sweetie, okay? Don't mind us about this. We're doing our best for us to give you a best life." ani ni Mommy na tila ba iniiba na lamang ang usapan namin.
I stood up from my chiar where I was sitting then bid my goodbyes to them. I don't have time for they're alibies.
"I don't have appetite for now, siguro sa school na lang po ako kakain. Bye Mom, Dad!" I said and then kissed their cheeks for respect.
"Take care sweetie!" ani ni Mommy.
"Keep safe Honey!" Dad said.
While on my way on school, I can't help to think on what my Mom said earlier. Doing their best for me to have a best life? Really? I have a best life if they give their attention and love for me.
Stop being a sad girl, Xy!
I just sighed on that thought. As if may magagawa ako sa problemang 'yun. Di nga nila ko makamusta kasi may problema raw sila sa company for their business. It's like, the business is their family. That business is their daughter and they give all the attention in that!
Pagpasok ko sa school, I check my my qwrist where my watch is, to check the time and I see that I still have time to eat. Nakakagutom din ang stress. This past few days puro ako stress eating dahil stress talaga. Argh, sayang beauty ko girl!
I texted my boyfriend for him to know that I'm here already and asking for his location. I ordered food in cafeteria kasi gutom talaga ang beauty ko! While waiting, nakarinig ako ng mga tsismosa dito. Well ‘di na mawawala dito 'yon!
"Swerte ni ate girl! Naka jackpot, si Kenneth pa ang natira!" sabi ni ate girl 1.
"Shrut ka dyan gurl! Kaso ‘di ko din alam kung seseryosohin siya no’n, like duh? Ganda ka ba?" ani ni ate girl 2 with rolled eyes pa!
