Hey I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm sorry for not updating sooner. I've had a lot on my plate and in brief words I'll explain.

My doggo has become an old man and with age comes sickness sometimes. He is very sick and I just haven't been up for writing because I've been worrying. But on a brighter note, I am also working on an animation for an upcoming story. So look forward to that.

Anyways, sorry about the rant. Here's what you actually came here for!

The next several days included Antonio managing to get the Italian to warm up to him. Gilbert and Francis often made visits, and soon the four became good friends. Though Lovino openly refused to admit it, he enjoyed the time they four spent together. The amount of attention he got was so much different from back at home, not that he'd ever mention that to Antonio.

Sure, there had been a few others back at his home that had watched out for Lovino. Yao was kind of like the mother he never had, but Lovino couldn't stand more than thirty seconds with the Chinese man's adopted children. Kiku and Leon were fine, but that Young Soo kid was where Lovino drew the line.

And it's not like his own father and brother didn't pay attention to him, in fact they did more than enough of that. But Lovino could always tell that everyone loved his younger brother more than they did him.

That was the reason Lovino had eventually flown away. Originally he was only going out on a quick flight to vent a bit. But he'd run into these two bastard hunters, and somehow ended up in Antonio's house.

But Lovino didn't mind this. Antonio, Gilbert, and Francis didn't have Feliciano to compare him to.

Lovino had also been introduced to ElDorado, and for a solid three hours refused to leave the adorable bull's side. Antonio had been more than glad that the two got along, for ElDorado seemed to enjoy Lovino's company just as much as Lovino did the bull's.

"Lovi!" The tomato bastard's obnoxious voice snapped Lovino back from his
thoughts. He felt two hands hold onto his shoulders and moved his gaze from staring out the living room window to see Antonio beaming.

"What do you want?" Lovino snapped, crossing his arms.

"It's been almost a month since you broke your wing," Antonio said, moving his hand to the ever-present brace on Lovino's wing.

"And?" Lovino frowned, pulling his wing back from Antonio's hand. Antonio sighed in defeat, but continued.

"And," he smiled once again. "I think it should be healed by now!"

Lovino blinked, before slowly glancing to his wing.

"You think?" His voice had lost all fierceness, instead filled with uncertainty. He looked up to meet Antonio's emerald gaze.

"Of course! If anything, it's been too long!" Antonio began to unwrap the brace from Lovino's wing.

And then Lovino's eyes began to sparkle with a childish glory Antonio hadn't seen from the Italian before.

"Can we go out, then? So I can fly?" Lovino asked hopefully, stretching his wing once it was free from the brace. Antonio frowned, hands on his hips.

"Yes, but we can only go into the forest. We can't risk anyone seeing you," Antonio glanced out the window, a smile once again forming on his face. "Look! Gil and Franceypants are here, they can come with us!"

Lovino glanced out the window to see said German and French men waving back at them from outside. Without warning, Antonio grabbed Lovino's hand and dragged him to the door.
