WARNER BROS DIDN'T EXACTLY LIKE THE ROUGH CUT VERSION OF THE MOVIE AND THOUGHT THAT SOME YOUNG CHILDREN WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SIT STILL WHILE WATCHING THE MOVIE, RESULTING IN COPPOLA CUTTING OUT ALMOST 23 MINUTES OF IT.

For one thing, many people know that Coppola cut out quite a lot of the movie, removing SOME VERY IMPORTANT PARTS. Apparently, Warner Bros figured that some teenagers and younger children that were watching the film would not be able to sit still while watching the movie, claiming that it was too long and there were too many plots that needed to be resolved. So, Francis Ford Coppola made the decision to cut some parts of the movie out.
