STEVIE WONDER, THE SINGER WHO WROTE AND SANG THE OPENING SONG TO "THE OUTSIDERS", "STAY GOLD" ACTUALLY WROTE THE SONG SPECIFICALLY FOR THE MOVIE.
Apparently, this amazing songwriter wrote our favorite opening song ("Stay Gold") specifically for the opening of the movie, because Francis had asked him to. I love the song to a deep extent, and will never stop loving it. It is so amazing and beautifully written. Actually, go listen to the song right now and you can see what I mean.
