C. THOMAS HOWELL (PONYBOY CURTIS) LATER CLAIMED THAT RALPH MACCHIO (JOHNNY CADE) WAS GREAT AT SPOONING.
C. Thomas Howell (Ponyboy Curtis) was asked about how much he liked working with Ralph Macchio (Johnny Cade), being his onscreen best friend and all. The interviewer also jokingly asked what it was like to cuddle with Macchio in the church during all of those scenes, and Howell responded, saying the Ralph was really great at spooning.
