These are just a couple things you probably didn't know about the beloved 1983 film "The Outsiders," it's actors and the making of the movie. These are some fun facts about the movie that was interesting to me and I thought I'd share with you. Enjoy...
"THE OUTSIDERS" IS DEDICATED TO THE MIDDLE SCHOOL THAT HAD INSISTED THAT IT WOULD BE MADE IN THE FIRST PLACE. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CREDITS AT THE END OF THE MOVIE, YOU CAN EVEN SEE IT WRITTEN: "THE OUTSIDERS IS DEDICATED TO THE PEOPLE WHO FIRST SUGGESTED THAT IT BE MADE."
A certain school had been the inspiration for the whole reason that the movie was made in the first place, and they had insisted that they should make it a film after the book was written. I'm not exactly sure which school they were exactly talking about. I think it would be cool to be like forty-eight years older now and claim that you were the reason a classic movie was made. Just saying.
