To Make Amends • Kylo Ren/ Ben Solo x reader

• Chapter 9 •

It had been a few days since I got really hurt. I didn't know exactly how many days because there was no way to tell the time in here and the bright lights were always kept on. I was sleeping, obviously...there was nothing else to do.

I opened my eyes and saw that my hand was resting down my my side with Kylo's hand holding onto it. I was about pull my hand back but then I didn't because he wasn't wearing his gloves and his hands were shockingly warm. Kyle hadn't noticed I was awake. His hand made mine look minuscule. I just laid there for a minute, when he looked up and say that I was awake he quickly took his hand away from mine. I felt the cold air of the room his my hand once again.

"Good Morning (Y/n)" He said after clearing his throat.

"Is it morning already? I asked.

"Yes, and (Y/n) I was informed by one of the medical droids that it'd be best if you got up and tried to walk around for a while" He said standing up.

"Yesss! It was getting so boring in here" I said trying to sit up and flinching.

It was mostly only my back and left leg that hurt now. I was barely able to stand up.

"Would you like me to help you?" Kylo asked.

"I suppose..." I replied rolling my eyes.

He went to put his arm around my waist to help me walk. Is he stupid or something.

"Uh no! It's all of my back and my leg that hurts now remember?!" I said abruptly.

"I-I uh-" I cut him off. Cutting people off seems to be a habit of mine aha.

"Just hold onto my hand, at least if I fall your going down with me" I laughed.

I saw him smile at my little joke. Aweee . No stop he's the reason your in this situation. We walked out of the hospital room and to one of the hallways. They all looked the same so I didn't know where we were going. I was a bit wobbly, but I was still holding onto Kylo's hand quite tightly.

"Kylo where are we going?" I questioned looking up at him.

"Where do you want to go?" He asked still looking forward.

"Where do I want to go?! Huh I don't even know..." I said also subconsciously thinking "Home" but also knowing I wanted to stay with Kylo for some reason.

"We can get food" He said looking down at me.

"Sure, that'd be nice. You know we probably look crazy right now." I said giggling as we continued to walk.

"Why so?" Kylo questioned.

"I mean come on, you, the commander and badass of the galaxy is walking down the halls of the star killer base holding hands with a crazy looking lady in a hospital gown. Now that I say that...i'm probably the only one who looks crazy" I said realising I wasn't even wearing shoes.

I looked at the wall beside me to see my reflection since pretty much all the walls in the star killer base were metal. Wow I really do look an absolute mess.

"No you don't.." Kylo said out loud.

"You gotta stop looking at my thoughts, it's not very nice. What ever happened to privacy?" I said bossily.

"I was just complimenting you, and like I said before, your thoughts are very hard to ignore. Maybe you just need to be quieter" He smirked.

"Whatever" I said jokingly.

We made our way slowly to the canteen and finally arrived. When we walked in everyone was staring at us but they all left pretty rapidly just like last time.

"Why do they all leave when you enter a room?" I asked.

"They're scared of me, as they should be. I'm the commander." Kylo replied.

He helped me to sit down and walked over to get us some food. He came back with two plates in his hand.

"I find it so funny that you, Kylo Ren, have to take care of me, (Y/n), like I know your the reason i'm hurt but still, having you bring me food and stuff is definitely kinda funny. Makes me feel powerful" I laughed.

"Don't get too used to it (Y/n)" He chuckled, leaving the plate in front of me.

"It's nice to see you happy, especially compared to angry." I smiled. He smiled awkwardly.

I started to eat but I looked up and he was absolutely stuffing his face with food. I started laughing at him and he laughed a little with me.

"(Y/n), I just wanted to tell you before it happens but Supreme Leader Snoke will most likely want to see you at some stage. He's intrigued by you and believes you'd be a great asset to the dark side" He said in a serious tone.

"You just had to ruin the moment didn't you." I said sarcastically. Although I was just avoiding what he was saying. I knew that being his apprentice meant more than just training every day. It was inevitably leading to joining the dark side and eventually becoming a Sith. There was no way I would be able to do that but I was kind of becoming attached to Kylo so I just avoided it.

"Ruin the moment?" He said confused.

"Yeah we were just smiling and laughing...It was nice." I said finishing off my plate of food.

Kylo helped me all the way back to my room and when we arrived at the door, Kylo said,

"Katia will you see (Y/n) to her bed?" It was more of an order than a question.

"Yes commander."

"Katia? You call her Katia now?" I asked.

"Yes. What of it?" He said in his robotic voice.

"Oh nothing." It's nice to know he actually listens to me, he even calls her Katia now

"Of course I listen." I heard Kylo in my thoughts.

Katia took my hand and helped me to my bed. I laid down and drifted off to sleep even though it wasn't nighttime. The walking around had tired me out.
