Chapter 7: Unknown People
They were red, no, a pair of sharingans as tears kept pouring out of them. The baby stopped, and looked at Ena. Slowly, the baby seemed to get comfortable and started closing it's tired eyes.
"What?! Why!?"
Ena sighed, "I'll explain later. For all I know, this baby is useful." Silence passed for a few seconds but then laughter erupted from Riyu.
"It's a baby! Ena, are you feeling alright?"
"Whatever."
Ena starts walking the other way which leads to their village, but she is stopped by Riyu who isn't laughing anymore, "How about the hunt? You know that our leader is going to kill us!"
"Do it for me. This guy here is more important." She simply said and started jumping tree branch to branch to reach the village.
That meant he had no space to argue as Riyu shrugged and did the job for her as well. If she says it is, then it is. She's Ena after all, He thought.
While he was busy hunting, Ena later on arrived at their small village. It was far from others and hardly spotted. It was well hidden in the forest.
The baby in her arms got the attention as she passed through the village and into the main home of the owner. The owner and Ruler of the village was her grandfather, and her father was the former leader for those who are protecting the village and so is providing it.
She walked in the main entrance of the big building, and into the office - more like his own space where his own room is.
Ena knocked on the door and waited for a response when a man opened it inside. It was her grandfather's assistant and it seemed like they were just talking about something earlier.
"Did I interrupt something?" She asked and got two shaking heads which belonged to the assistant and her father who was seated across her grandfather.
The old man spoke up, "No, Ena. So, what brought you here."
"This baby." She answered, making her two relatives widen their eyes, "Since when!? You didn't tell-"
Ena then raised her hand again to stop her father from blabbering and shook her head. "It isn't mine. I found him in the forest earlier."
"Oh? You couldn't ask your leader to give this baby and report it back to me."
She shakes her head as she faces the assistant behind her who was still near the door and listening in the conversation, "Could you please leave for a moment?" She asked him and nodded respectfully.
"It's that serious, huh?" Her father questioned. He knows Ena wasn't the type to make a person leave when they were just in a meeting with her grandfather. The assistant then left.
Her attention went to her father and nodded. She walked closer to them and sat down with them, her face was completely focused as the two waited for her to explain.
"This baby is useful for us. He.." She looked down at the sleeping baby, "..has the sharingan."

The Uchiha couple with their daughter were walking as the winds and the small animals were the only thing filling their silence.
Sakura noticed Sasuke's alertness and protectiveness the whole time ever since they left. She decided to break the silence.
"Sarada looks just like you, Sasuke-kun."
He turned to his wife and raised a brow, he doesn't know if it's a compliment or not and Sakura caught that and chuckled, "It's a compliment."
