Chapter 20: The Last Day

The next day, Leader Noriko stood on the branch, his chakra and his orb masked. He already took some echakea from the defenseless villagers, or the medic who came in and out.

He sat down on the branch, waiting for his two members Ena and Riyu to give them a reminder that they should be home anytime soon. The more they stay longer, the more they become suspicious.

His hope of having a report of what the village fully looks like made him stay patient. In the distance he can spot someone coming towards him.

He hid in the trunk, and to see if it's any of his members. "Noriko. It's Riyu." The guy said.

Noriko left the trunk, revealing himself. He can see Riyu sitting down, but his other member is nowhere to be found. "Where's Ena?"

Riyu shrugged, "She wanted to go somewhere else and talk to someone."

Their leader's brows furrowed, "What do you mean?"

"It's got something to do with Sachi's parents." Riyu noticed his leader stomping his feet forwards. Hurriedly, he raised both his arms to stop him, "Don't worry! She isn't revealing anything. We talked about it."

The leader stared at him for a moment, seeing if there are any lies in them. He then sighed, "Good. Today, you should be getting chakra in your orbs."

Riyu pats his bag, where his orb lies. "I'll tell her. When are we leaving?"

Noriko sat down on the boulder, across him. "Before sun down. Also, did you get to meet those with the most chakra?"

Riyu gave a grin, and put three fingers up. "Yup. Naruto Uzamaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and his wife, Sakura Uchiha."

Noriko's eyes widened, "Sachi's mother?"

Riyu nodded, "No doubt. She looked exactly like him." The pink hair and shining green eyes from the lady he had seen replayed in his mind. He could see Sachi in her.

"What's with the look?" Noriko asked, tilting his head. Riyu looked up, "What look?"

Noriko crossed his arms, "Something happened?" He ignored his question. Riyu sighed, "I didn't know we had to be mentally prepared to go here.." He gave a nervous laugh.

Riyu then stood up, closing their conversation to an end. "Nevermind that. Ena and I can talk about it, and tell you the report of the places when we're back."

Their leader also stood up, "Yes. We better leave soon. Meet me here again after." At that, Riyu ran back to the Village to meet up with Ena.

Meanwhile, as Riyu ran back. Ena was sitting on the bench. Beside her is Sakura holding her bento on her lap, smiling at Ena. "What did you want to talk about?" She asked.

Aki was back in his house with a sleeping Sachi on the couch after lunch. He was about to wash the dishes, and cook dinner for Ena when's back, until he heard the doorbell ring.

He looked through the hole to see his father. He opened the door for him, "Son! Where's the little one?" Matsu asked. Aki moved away, giving his father space to come in.

"Dad, he's sleeping, but he might wake up soon."

Matsu nodded, sitting beside the sleeping baby. Aki went to the kitchen, and looked at the back of his father's head. "So.. How's Mom?"
