Chapter 15: Turning Away From You
Previously...
When Sakura went to bed, her eyes closed as her thoughts turned to dreams. She fell into deep slumber. For a while, she only saw black, but as everything dimmed. She saw something right in front of her.
-
Green Eyes. Pink Hair. Gentle Smile.
Sakura breathed in and out, as she held her son closer to her. She eyed the man in the hood as his arms slowly threatened her. It went closer, taking the son she held dearly and tightly.
She tried to scream. No sound. Her other arm weighed with her daughter, as she cried endlessly. Sakura held her tightly, the other reaching for her son. She looked for Karin, but only to find out she laid on the ground.
As much as Sakura wanted to scream, there was nothing. Her sweat from giving birth became more from nervousness as to what might happen to her newborn son.
Finally a sound came out, "No!"
"Stop, please!" She screamed louder, but the hooded man proceeded to wear a smile and turned around to see a spiraling that was similar to what she's seen before.
In a blink of a second the man and her son were gone. Nowhere in this room could she see any of them.
She realized she's on the ground as her tired eyes were tempted to close while the muffled sounds of her daughter's cries couldn't keep her up.
When her eyes finally closed. Pitch black came to view. Nothing was seen or heard anymore.
"Mom." The voice. That voice of a boy she will only find familiar without ever hearing it.
Sakura turned around to see a boy. His head is low, but his pink hair lights up the dark space. He didn't look up, "Why did you leave me?"
Sakura's heart felt a piercing. 'No,' she thought. She walked closer to the grown boy, "No, No, no, dear, no. I never wanted to leave you. No, no." The answer came with tears that poured down like waterfalls, but it never looked majestic as one. It was depressing and heart breaking.
Her expression mirrored her son's when he looked up. "You did." He said. His voice was distant, and it felt like an arrow to Sakura as she stared at him, and more years came.
"No, no, no! I never did. Please come here. Please. Come back." She begged, but the only answer she had was his back.
He turned around, and she saw no Uchiha crest on it. Only plain clothing. In front of the boy, figures of many people appeared. There were no colours, but traces of their figures showed.
Her son walked up to one figure that seemed like a woman. She hugged him like she was her mother. Sakura saw this in front of her.
The figures and her first son walked away. The dark space fading, turning to a bright light. She could herself scream, "No! No! Please, no!"
-
Her eyes opened. All she could see was a blur right when the light hit her eyes. She breathed in and out slowly. 'Was it a genjutsu? Or just a nightmare?' She thought, her eyes felt wet and she touched them, realizing they were tears.
"Sakura..." A voice called out to her.
She looked up to see her friend, Ino. Her expression showed concern and sweat had covered her forehead. Ino had dropped her hands from hovering on Sakura's chest as the green light faded. Sakura frowned in confused, "Wh-What happ-"
