Chapter 22: Having a Sibling

In the mid-day in Konoha, the lively crowd filled the streets of the Hidden Leaf Village. There came to view an all known fast food restaurant named Lightning Burger.

Inside sat many young kids with their headbands to show they are Konoha's young ninjas. As the yellow haired kid with Naruto's features gobble up his burger.

The Uchiha heiress Sarada could only keep her eyes closed and take a sip from her drink while her friend beside her, ChoCho eating her chips.

ChoCho's teammates, Inojin and Shikadai sat on a table, bringing their food. "Oi, how was your mission?" Inojin asked the Team 7 members, taking a bite of his food.

Mitsuki who sat beside Boruto looked up and gave his usual smile, "It went well." Sarada nodded.

Boruto then scowled, "Sure it did. Making sure the old lady gets to her house went very well indeed."

Sarada gave him a narrowed look, "Even if it was simple, at least we did something Boruto-Baka."

Boruto huffed, making ChoCho laugh. "Ours seemed to be better than yours, Sarada." She comments, recalling their mission about fighting a few thieves that had escaped from a nearby village.

"Really, Shikadai?" Boruto asked his friend at the other table, feeling a bit of disappointment about his mission compared to his friend's.

Shikadai let out a sigh, "It was a drag.."

The bell of the entrance door from the restaurant was heard, showing a little girl that everybody knew. "Himawari!?" She came in with a grin as she ran up to hug her older brother.

"Onii-Chan!" Himawari says out loud, surprising her brother. Everybody watched the whole thing, especially Sarada.

"What are you doing here?" He asks, he knows how Hima wasn't the type to go to many fast food restaurants since they were unhealthy. She always preferred their mother's cooking.

Himawari looked through her bag, and took out a pack of cards, "I bought Onii-chan his favourite cards!"

Boruto's eyes gleamed, taking the pack and raising them up, "Hima! Thank you!" Himawari gave another bright smile, saying she's welcome.

Boruto's friends who also liked the cards gathered around and looked at them as well, telling Boruto to open them so they could see what he got.

Sarada stayed quiet while ChoCho continued to complain about how stupid they look going overly obsessed about cards. Her words didn't seem to break Sarada's thoughts.

She stayed still watching Himawari and Boruto exchange words and their smiles. Their similar features were clear that they're siblings and all.

"Guys I gotta go." Inojin said in the middle of their conversation. Boruto had asked why he had to leave, making Inojin scratch the back of his head, "My parents want me to take care of my little brother."

Oh yeah, just last year. Inojin just gave out the news that Aunt Ino was pregnant. There are times where Inojin is rarely coming to hang out because he was an older brother.

Everyone said their goodbyes as Sarada just stayed thinking about siblings. What will it be like to have them?

Then ChoCho stands up suddenly, finally breaking Sarada from her thoughts, "Speaking of siblings! My mom is thinking of having another one!" She says excitedly.

Sarada smiled and patted ChoCho, "Congratulations, ChoCho."

The others started joking around about not feeding her sibling chips while it's a newborn and all. Sarada also stood up, "I-I have to leave. See you guys another time."
