Chapter 31: Our Children

After separating from Sachi, Kelin decided to go to the busy yet calmer streets. His gaze turned to everyone, trying to look for a good chakra nature to get for his Chakra Orb.

He reminded himself to deliver it to the group afterwards so he won't be suspicious due to the change of his chakra.

While walking on the road, loud steps and talking is what you mostly hear. Everyone seemed pretty neutral and it was pretty obvious that it won't fill his Chakra Orb fully which made him disappointed.

That's when his senses' attention was caught. His hair stood up and he turned to his side, the wide space of road showed two guys that were closely the same age as him. One had pale skin, and the other with a lighter tone.

A blonde, and a blue-haired boy walked together. Kelin realized both of them held such a good amount of chakra that is able to even fill two Chakra Orbs.

He smirked 'Bingo.'

Swiftly, he jumped out of the way on top of a roof without anyone seeing him. As they walked in line of their view, he jumped upward from the roof. Whispering a jutsu as he stayed afloat and his wind blades shoot towards the two young boys.

Aware of what was going on, the two boys jumped out of the way and looked up at the same to see Kelin's impressed smirk. 'Fast, huh.'

Kelin grabbed onto a hanging sign's holder of a pole and swung himself to another roof. Looking at both of the guys that looked alarmed at him. The villagers on the street yelled at them to stop.

Kelin then ran fast, targeting the blonde boy who seemed ready to take him on. Boruto stood firmly on the roof he jumped on from the attack the stranger made but his eyebrows furrowed at the way he swiftly moved towards him.

When he was closer to Boruto, a long stretched arm blocked his way to Boruto which only made Kelin stop and flipped back when he saw hissing snakes come out from his sleeves.

Boruto realized he was distracted, and he jumped high above and said his Clone Jutsu, popping right by his sides as they threw kunais at him from the air.

Kelin saw the kunais coming and he yelled out a wind jutsu that just made them fly back towards Boruto, hitting his clones and a puff smoke to appear.

Then he was going to move but only to realize he was trapped in stretched hands around his legs. He looked down to see snakes hissing from his feet, about to crawl up on his body.

When Boruto emerged from the smoke, he already landed on the roof. He stared at the stranger kid that's trapped by Mitsuki, standing right behind the Kelin.

Boruto ran towards Kelin, a kunai on hand with both of his arms flat waving behind him. Kelin couldn't move or do anything else but he was lucky when someone with a familiar hood appeared in front of him, taking the blonde's wrist where the hand held the kunai is.

Before Kelin could ask where his friend was, another voice was heard.

"What's going on, Boruto." Boomed a demanding voice.

Sakura stared down at the boy on the ground. Her tears made everything blurry in her vision. The boy looked stunned, his green similar eyes that reflected hers made her tears slowly going down her cheeks.

The reminder of the past of that baby boy she held close that opened his eyes to reveal such emerald pure eyes lasted a second yet it remained printed in her mind.

"Who are you.." Sachi let out a whisper, his head and gaze kept staring up at the woman.
