Chapter 26: A Note For Him

Sakura tried to sit still as she waited for this clone Uchiha to say something more. Jizo didn't know much about emotion, along with his brothers. They all were taught orders, not their feelings.

Even if he stared at Sakura, he wouldn't know the display of emotion she's showing. He was confused, yet still showed a blank face.

Noticing the features and the hair the woman had, it only proved that she definitely was the mother of the baby he had left in the forest.

He looked away from her to stare at a blank space and finally started to continue, "I knew him. Held him even."

Sakura's eyes widened, she looked up rather fast and was close to unintentionally grab his shoulders and make him tell everything now but she had to control her feelings down. The kid is injured, if she were to do something unacceptable, she'd regret it

"Tell me! How did you know him?" She whispered, even if she wanted to scream and cry at the thought of her lost son. "Please... Just tell me everything.." Her voice cracked as she begged for the next words Jizo had to say.

The kid nodded, and a part of him hurt inside when he watched the kunoichi breakdown, but he ignored the feeling. "Shin.. Uchiha. My father.. He took your child away."

Sakura didn't need to be surprised when she heard this, instead anger built up, but one can tell she's calm if they looked at her. "Why? Why did he?"

"His eyes. He was after your child's eyes. My father knew he couldn't take down your husband yet." Jizo sighed, feeling the disappointment at the realization of where he came from, "So he was after the children, but he didn't know that one with Uchiha blood must develop their eyes for so long."

"W-What did he do?" Sakura stuttered. She feared he may have done something more unforgivable that she had wished she punched him harder before.

"He was going to kill him. He would never have the time to care for a child, when he was focused on regrouping the Akatsuki."

Sakura couldn't help but feel her heart race when she heard Jizo say 'kill' death to a newborn? She would be devastated but it seems like he didn't do such a thing, "Going to? What happened?"

Jizo's eyes trailed down to his hands, he didn't know what to feel, but he was feeling something and he didn't know what. "I.. Took the baby away. I had left him in the forest near the hideout."

"Where!? Why did you leave him there!" Her voice was close for everyone to hear, but many medics ignored the kunoichi to continue their last check up and some left.

"I didn't.. Have enough time to return him. When I heard people in the forest.coming, I left him there. I stayed for a while, seeing him be picked up by a woman and brought him somewhere..."

Sakura starts shaking, as thoughts of possible dangers of where his son may be. She wouldn't be able to continue listening as her ears started ringing. She had to know more, tell Sasuke where this place is and bring him back.

"Did you know where they were taking him?" She asked, hoping he'd know the answer to that but he shook his head.

"I tried to follow them, but I was taken back to the hideout.." His hand raised to his chest, "To be wounded.. Nearly killed"

"Your scar... He did it." Sakura whispered.

All the medics had already left for the night, while the kunoichi and the clones Uchiha sat still with their thoughts. Kabuto appeared in the room, where most of the Uchiha clones played asleep but he could see the frowning pink haired Sakura and Jizo up.
