Hello, fellow Fanders!

Thank you for almost 2k reads, I really appreciate it! Especially in a fandom as big as Sanders Sides. Anyway, does anyone have any good fanfiction they could reccommend to me? I can do all platforms, I'm just starved for Sanders Sides content. Sorry!

Also, this is shorter than usual, sorry about that. It is more of a filler chapter.

WARNINGS : None, I don't think. Apart from admiting your-maybe-more-than-a-crush to your friend.

Virgil hated it.

It was horrible honestly. An incessant buzzing that hovered just below his skin, accompanied by a mad vibration in his gut. Any time he saw Logan, it started up. No wait, scratch that. He didn't even have to see him, thinking about the boy was enough.

Virgil wasn't stupid. He knew that the events that transpired that morning meant that Logan felt the same way that Virgil did. Well, maybe not the same way, but he certainly didn't hate him. Try as it might, that small nagging of doubt couldn't break through the cotton in his brain. Usually his brain would be filled with excuses as to why Logan had acted that way, but it was failing.

It was scary.

Virgil had always doubted himself, that's just how he was. Over-analysing everything to the point of ludicrousy, and he hadn't even tried to stop it. But now... Now that voice was near non-existent. Or rather, a new one had joined it.

You probably creeped him out, you know.

He didn't seem too creeped out.

Doesn't mean he isn't.

Meh.

He could just be stringing you along, you know.

Lo's too nice for that.

Exactly. He might just be too nice to turn you down.

Pat said he was blushing when I leaned on him.

So what? Anyone would blush in that situation you ass-hat.

Patton wouldn't.

Yeah well, that's Patton. He just platonically loves everyone.

Yeah well, he cuddled with me. Twice.

The first time doesn't count, and the second time you basically demanded him.

So what? Lo's smarter than that. If he doesn't want to do something. He doesn't do it.

Want to? Jeez, you're pathetic.

Virgil shook his head silently, trying to calm his inner turmoil. That small voice of hope was refusing to be squished, despite his best efforts. If Virgil was being honest, he kinda didn't want it to go. Sure, he may be building himself up for an even bigger fall, but this was Logan. Maybe he was worth falling for.

"Oi, Nightmare! You coming?" Virgil's head shot up to meet the gaze of a certain prep, who was watching him with a raised eyebrow. He decided to channel his excess energy into his legs, striding across the courtyard to meet up with the rest of the group.

Patton giggled at his antics before turning back to Logan and continuing his conversation. Virgil thought he heard the name "Tesla", but he wasn't sure. Either way, he had bigger issues to deal with. Like the fact a certain theater-nerd was grinning at him knowingly, and waiting for him to catch up.
