Hello, fellow Fanders!

Okayokayokay, so this edit is of an anime called The Promised Neverland, it's really good, but if you're planning on watching the anime you might wanna do that first cause the edit does have spoilers in it. Also, I'm branching out! This is in Logan's POV!

ANWAY- this is gonna be more of a filler chapter, sorry 'bout that, I was in an analogical mood, 'kay? But make sure you check over the tags anyway! Don't want anyone getting hurt. Also, if you prefer reading things on Tumblr, my username is awkward little pringle. The first few chapters I was really bad at linking, and so the links don't work. They should come up if you search chapter 2,3 etc.

WARNINGS : mentions of suicide/running someone over (jokingly) insecurities, watcing people while they sleep, awkward writing in general... I think that's it?

A dull note buzzed at the edges of Logan's conscience, dragging him back to the third dimension. He sighed as he felt a familiar weight set back into his body, making him realise how sore his neck was.

"What in the..." He experimentally lifted his head off his pillow and winced. Yup. That was stiff. Against his better judgement, Logan found himself collapsing back onto his mattress. It was surprisingly comfortable for something in a boarding school, not that Logan had been to a boarding school. He wondered how much funding they got.

He rolled onto his side and picked his phone up off his side table, dismissing the alarm. There was no need to wake up Virgil after all. A small warmth blossomed in Logan's chest at the thought of the other male.

It was irrational. Logan knew it was irrational. But he didn't have the heart to stamp it out. He squinted across the room at the fuzzy mess of purple and black that was Virgil. He found himself reaching for his glasses, sighing as the cool plastic settled on his nose. His vision shifted into focus and he found himself staring at the male across the room from him.

God he's adorable.

Half of Virgil's face was smooshed against his pillow, and dark locks framed what was visible of his face. His mouth was parted slightly, his blanket-covered chest rising and falling gently, it was the only part of him moving, noted Logan. A pale fist was loosely clutching the top of his bundle of blankets.

Speaking of blankets, the sheer amount the boy owned still confused Logan. When they'd first shared the room Virgil had only been using one, but they seemed to have appeared when they built the pillow fort. Logan certainly wasn't complaining, Virgil looked darling bundled up like that.

Logan started as Virgil let out a near silent yawn. The cat-like boy's nose twitched, causing him to rub it softly. He settled down with a sigh, hair falling in his face. Logan wanted nothing more to brush it away.

The glasses-clad boy sighed, dragging his unwilling body out of the warmth of his blankets and into the chilly morning air. Sure, it was a Saturday, but Logan knew from experience that the chances of him falling asleep again were miniscule.

Logan glanced at his clock. 7:15. Eight minute shower, 5 minutes for getting dressed, and 5 minutes for everything else. He could start studying early, and wake Virgil up at 8:00. Yes, that would do.

20 minutes later Logan was seated at his desk, staring at his english assignment. Fuck metaphors... he grumbled, deciding to switch to calculus.

Unbeknownst to him, a certain brown-eyed boy was watching him from underneath his blanket burrito.
