I woke up to my phone constantly vibrating. It's a goddamn Saturday, I don't gym sessions till night. I picked up my phone to see 4 missed calls from Dad and the basketball groups are spamming messages after messages.
I open the group chat between me, Tania and Olivia.

I continue scrolling down the chat.
Olivia 🌻: i think she's still asleep
Olivia 🌻: i mean it make sense, the iconic james morgan's hook and the post move
Tania 🐞: bro the news are going cRAZY over this, they're already comparing videos
I clicked on the link that Tania sent.
My heart pounding against my chest, how did it get out?
I look at the YouTube title, Iconic James Morgan & Alexis Morgan. It's a 2 minute video, Dad's video on the left and mine on the right. The people are right, I do see the resemblance.
I immediately call Dad and put him on loud speaker.
"Dad, I am so sorry! I don't know how it got out—"
"Alexis, calm down." Dad says, I immediately shut my mouth and listen to what he have to say. "I have already came out and confirmed. The world is going to find out one day anyway, it's fine." Dad assured me.
"There's nothing we can do about it, Anne. Don't worry about it and go on about your day okay?"
I didn't answer straightaway. I am still in utter shock... Who told?
"Anne?" Dad calls out.
I let out a sigh, "yes Dad. Please do, please— Let me know if there's anything you want me to do." I plead.
Dad simply laughs, "okay Anne, bye." He ends the call and I throw my phone on the bed. I took my pillow and scream in it, "goddamn it!"
"James Morgan has confirmed that he has two children, 18 year old Alexis Morgan and 7 year old Axel Morgan. James Morgan is surprisingly not married—" I changed the sports channel to Disney channel.
I'm sick of it, sick of people.
I picked up my phone and see that there's more news on James Morgan. Dad has been trending on Twitter for the whole morning.
"James Morgan, former NBA Chicago Bulls player has a superstar daughter who is currently playing in Duke."

I scroll through the tweets, so far there's nothing negative about it. I'm relieved that there is none.
Dad has his reasons to keep it a secret and I have my reasons too. I don't know why Dad wants to keep it a secret, I never really asked.
I picked up my gym bag and left my apartment. I opened the door and there stood Lucas Jones.
I drop my bag on the floor and charge at him, "woah!" Lucas puts his hands on my shoulders, pushing me off of him.
I grab a fistful of his shirt and pull him close to me, "it was you!" I growl at him.
