*Dylan's Pov*

*Nurses room*

Olivia finishes wrapping up my hand and I thank her. She smiles, kisses my head, and starts paying attention to the group. Everyone is coming up with plans and stuff. I kinda tuned everyone out, I just can't stop thinking about if my parents are here, and if I should just put Matt down now.

Sam starts putting cotton inside Matt's nose. My eyes don't leave Matt not for a single. Someone sets their hand on my shoulder. A familiar voice whispers in my ear.

"Just kill him already, you know you want to, he deserves it. He hurt her, he tried to rape her, he'll try again. You must end him and protect my daughter." Sandra's voice echoes through my mind. I slowly take my knife out. My hand starts to shake, but I end up dropping the knife, catching everyone's attention.

"You okay dude?" Simon asked.

"Y..Yeah I'm fine. My knife must of slipped." I answered. Olivia looks at me with concern.

"You're crying?" I didn't even noticed I was. I wiped my tears away.

"Oh I'm not, they're just watery. Don't worry about me let's continue with the planning."  Everyone listens and goes back to talking about the plan except for Olivia. She comes behind me, hugs me, and gives me a kiss on the cheek. She whispers in my ear.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I whispered back to her. She holds me tightly and I suddenly feel like I'm back to earth.

The walkie-talkie starts to go off revealing a man's voice.

"Hey Murphey come in." We're all mute as we stare at the walkie. Sam takes the walkie, shushs us, clears his throat and presses the button.

"Hey, what's up?" Sam asked while sounding like the guy we just killed. How the hell he do that?

"The herd is gonna be here any minute, have you had eyes on the kid yet?" Holy shit he bought it.

"Negative."

"Damnit, well keep looking he might be hiding."

"Got it, I'm on it."

"Roger that, I love you little brother." Sam hesitates for a second.

"I-I love you too big bro."

"Over and out." The walkie goes off and we are all silent again. Simon broke the silence.

"Dude how did you sound like him?"

"Doing impressions of people was my hobby before the dead started walking. Never knew it would save my life one day." Sam shrugged.

I look towards Olivia to see tears coming down her face. I take her shakey hand and hold it. She turns to look at me with big sad eyes, and at that moment I realize that she just had to kill her first person. Killing a living person is different from the undead. It's haunting, especially when you have no other choice. Olivia was smarter than the rest of us to know what Jenny was planning back there. I stood up from my chair, wrap my arms around her as she buries her head in my chest, and whisper in her ear.

"Everything's gonna be okay."

After a minute her crying stopped. We stood there for a few mins, until I hear Johnny gather everyone's attention.
