*Olivia's Pov*
Not long after Dylan and I finally reunited, Mark and Robert showed up. Dylan caught us up on what protocol Titan is and the reason why he's so bloodied up right now. Good thing I brought some medical supplies from Mark's RV. I bring Dylan to the corner while Johnny talks with the others. I start to treat the cuts on his knuckles first.
"Thank you beautiful." Dylan smiled. I can feel my cheeks getting red while wrapping up his hand.
"Don't mention it babe." I winked. I begin to work on his face.
"How did you guys even survive that horde?"
I explain to him what happened to Sam, Matthew, and how we walked out of the school to the car covered in guts.
"Wow, I can't believe that actually worked."
"It was scary not gonna lie, but we weren't gonna give up. Even when we was drained, we kept pushing on." I told him as I put a band aid on his cheek. He grabs my hand, looking me in my eyes with his sad ones. "What happened to you before your mom showed up, it's been happening more hasn't it?" I asked him. He nods taking a deep breath.
"I..I seen you the other day, and you told me I killed you guys. That it was my fault you were d..d..dead. It didn't look like you guys could survive. I don't know what's wrong with me, and I don't know if I'm ever gonna get better." I put my free hand on his cheek whiping a tear going down his face.
"When we are far away from this place we'll work on it. No matter how long it takes, I love you and I'm not leaving your side okay? We'll get through it together."
"I love you so damn much." I bring his face to mine kissing his lips sweetly. Damn I've missed his lips so much. I missed how safe I feel in his arms. Our kisses makes me feel like I can do anything, including doing the impossible. I hear a cute little squeal to my side. We stop kissing and look down to a grinning little girl.
"Told you you'll find your princess big bro." She said folding her tiny arms. Dylan and I chuckled at the adorable little girl.
"Yes you did. Olivia this is my bestie/little sis, no relations, Lily. Lily this is my beautiful princess Olivia." Dylan introduced us. Lily holds her hand out and I take it shaking it.
"Welcome to the family Lily." I smiled.
"Please to meet you. You're really pretty." She smiled.
"Aww thank you. You're such a cutie." She looks at Dylan covering her mouth so only he can see her lips.
"I like her." She whispers to him. He chuckles doing the same thing as her.
"I like her too, she's awesomeness." He whispers to her. Lily giggles and my heart melts. It's been so long since I heard a child laugh, it's honestly pretty refreshing. Johnny comes up to us with a nervous look on his face.
"What's wrong?" I asked him worried.
"You're not gonna like this Liv, but I want you to take Lily and the others to the car. Start taking everyone to the RV. I know it's gonna take trips and we're really pushing our gas but we'll need everyone out of here for this to work got that?"
"I can do that but what do you have planned Johnny?" I retorted.
"Once everyones gone and safe away. This place will blow up stopping project titan and hopefully phoenix for good. Carlos knows where to go so he's taking me and I'm gonna need Dylan for back up."
"N..No no we just got him back, I'm not losing him agai-"
"I'll be fine love. Depp needs me to do this, and I'm not letting him go alone with Carlos. Like I said you could never lose me." Dylan reassures me. I look at Johnny and then back to Dylan pointing at the both of them.
"Just make it back both you. Claire and I need you two to come back."
"We will. I love you my badass princess." Dylan smiled. I huffed not liking this plan.
"I love you so freaking much my idiot prince. Now go, we don't have that much time. Come back to me got that?" Dylan gives me a short loving kiss on the lips.
"Always." He winks with a smile. I nod to him then to Johnny. I hand Dylan my suppressed glock, he's gonna need it more than me. All of us exit the tent. The boys follow Carlos into the opposite direction of us. God I hope they make it.
I take Lily's hand and we head to the elevator we came from. Passing the bigger elevator we seen a helicopter go down when we got here, we head to the smaller one next to it. A woman's scream is heard echoing through the underground along with the very familiar sound of growlers.
"How are there growlers here? We made sure those soliders all couldn't come back." Mark said shocked.
"Must've been the soldier Dylan killed. That definitely got their attention, we need to go now." I told the group as I press the elevator button. I feel a tug on my jeans. I look down and see Lily with a scared expression on her face.
"Carlos and big bro are still back there. W..We can't leave them with those monsters." She cried. I squat down placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I know but they're not alone. They do have Johnny with them and I know for a fact he has their back. I know you're scared, hell I'm pretty scared myself. But we are princesses and what are princesses?"
"Pretty, awesome, and rich?" She guessed. I chuckled.
"Yes but you forgot the most important one. We're brave. We can feel scared, but we can take that fear and kick it's butt okay?" She nods forming a small smile. "Good, now what do we to fear?"
"Kick it in the butt." She giggled.
"Attagirl." I bring my fist in front of me and she gives me a fist bump. I stand as the elevator door finally opens. I pick Lily up holding her, as we all go inside and Robert presses the button. A man runs straight for the elevator door and away from growlers heading his way.
Robert starts pressing the button faster trying to get it to close. Lily buries her face into my shoulder. Suddenly Mark takes his gun out, shooting the man in the face killing him. A couple growlers start to eat his body as the door finally shuts. I nod in thanks to him.
"Don't mention it." He replied. I put Lily down and she gets behind me holding my hand. I take my walkie off my side and radio Claire.
"Claire you're there?"
"I'm here."
"Is everything clear up there?"
"Yeah only a few growlers breached in but we can clear them."
"Okay, we're on our way up now."
"Good, we'll clear these growlers."
I put the walkie back on my side taking a deep breath. A part of me wants to follow Johnny's plan, but something isn't sitting right with me. The elevator door opens, Robert and Mark steps out.
"Robert take Lily, I'm going back down." I ordered.
"N..No. Johnny and Dylan got this. We're not risking losing you too." He argued.
"I'll be fine trust me. Now go, we don't have time to argue." I give him a confident look. He gives me a 'this is stupid expression' but holds his hand out for Lily, that she takes letting go of mine.
"Here, don't get yourself killed." Robert said as he hands me his m4 carbine.
"Thanks, I don't plan on it." I nodded as the door shuts. Okay, okay, I'm a brave badass princess. I can do this, I can do this.
