Part 8- NEW YEAR

*new years eve*
MIke: ok mom when are they coming
El: Who's coming?
Mike: my grandparents and aunts and uncles
Karen: uhh they will be here around 6
El: why?
Mike: were having a new years party el
El: party for new years?
Mike: you've never been to one have you
El: no
Mike: ok so it's where you have  bunch of people and watch a big ball drop in new york until it hits 12am and it's the new year
El: new york?
Mike: yes but we are watching it on tv instead
El: *el nods her head*
Mike: you ok?
El: i've never met your family mike
Mike: they will love you el, don't worry
El: promise?
Mike: promise!
Karen: you guys are adorable
Mike: MOM
El: *laughs*
*later that night*
*in mike's room*
El: what do i wear for a new years party mike
Mike: anything, my moms making me dress up for family but you can wear anything you want
El: well if your dressing up i will to
*el grabs a pair of blue mom jeans and a blue and white striped button up shirt from the closet*
El: does this work
Mike: perfect
*they get dressed and head down stairs as mikes aunt pulls in the driveway*
*she walks in and hugs karen, holly, ted and mike*
Mikes aunt: whos this karen
Keren: this is el, its mike's girlfriend
Mikes aunt: nice to meet you el, i love your outfit
El: thank you *shakes her hand*
Karen: el lives with us full time now which is amazing
Mike aunt: oh wow that's great
Mike: mom lucas, max, and dustin are coming over at 7
Karen: that's fine, are you guys going to be in the basement?
Mike: probably
Karen: that's fine but when family gets here i expect you to say hi, am i wrong
Mike: no it's fine i'll come upstairs when people get here
*later on that night the rest of the kids arrive*
Lucas: the party is in the house
Max: oh shut it
Mike: jesus you guys wanna go in the basement
Dustin: works for me
*they all go to the basement*
Max: so where's el
Mike: my bedroom reading probably
Lucas: not with your family?
Mike: there was to many people for her
Dustin: well go get her, there's only 4 of us
Mike: ok
*mike walks up stairs to his room*
Mike: hey el uh the partys here if you want to come downstairs
El: oh ok sure
*mike smiles and they walk to the basement*
El: hey guys
Max: hey 
Mike: what do you guys want to do, we have about 5 hours till new years
Dustin: uh i mean we could play truth or dare or uh i don't know
Max: i'm down for truth or dare
Lucas: same
Mike: el what about you
El: sure i don't care
Mike: ok who's first
Max: ill ask, uh dustin are you and your version of phoebe  still dating
Dustin: jesus yes we are
Mike: i figured
Dustin: ok uh mike truth or dare
Mike: i guess truth
Dustin: uh ok did you quit smoking
Mike: yep
Dustin: finally
Mike: *laughs* lucas truth or dare
Lucas: dare
Mike: uh i dare you to i don't know uh kiss max
Lucas: easy
*max and lucas kiss*
Lucas: ok uh el truth or dare
El: truth
Lucas: are you a virgin *laughs*
Mike: lucas what the hell
El: virgin?
Lucas: you don't know what that means
Mike: of course she doesn't lucas
El: tell me
Max: it mean you havent you know like had *pauses* sex
El: ew
Mike: yea changing subjects, el your turn
El: uh max truth or dare
Max: dare duh
El: ok uh i dare you to chug the pepsi on the table as fast as you can
Max: that's easier than kissing lucas
Lucas: what's that supposed to mean
Max: nothing *rolls eyes* *chugs the pepsi* done
El: impressive
*5 hours pass*
Mike: ok someone turn the tv on, there's 10 minutes till new years
*dustin turns the tv on*
Karen: *yells from the top of the stairs* MIKE TURN YOUR TV ON ITS ALMOST TIME FOR THE BALL TO DROP
Mike: ITS ALREADY ON MOM
*max starts laughs*
Mike: what's so funny
Max: nothing *shakes head*
*lucas punches mikes arm*
Lucas: New years kiss with el?
Mike: like she'd want to
El: want to do what
Lucas: your supposed to kiss your boyfriend when it hits 12am
El: oh, thats cool
*he punches mike's arm again and walks away*
Mike: what was that for dude
El: so were supposed to kiss at 12?
Mike: yes, i mean only if you want to, if you dont its ok
El: you would think i don't want to?
Mike: i don't know
El: but anyway yes i would like to
Mike: ok then, works for me
*10 minutes later
The party: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
*el and mike kiss and so do lucas and max
